General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Has Had Enough
Recent episodes of GH revealed that Victor has been blackmailing Valentin to work for him since he wasn’t able to hypnotize Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Previously, Valentin had told others that he had been the one who put his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McClain) in a foreign boarding school to protect her from Victor. It turns out that Victor was the one who put Charlotte in the boarding school and isn’t allowing Valentin to visit her or to withdraw her.
Valentin obviously has been under so much pressure from Victor that he’s stooped to lying to friends and family about Charlotte! But when he and Victor met in a park and he gave him his latest task, Valentin told him if he hurt Charlotte he’d cut his throat!
GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Tasked With Taking Out Laura Collins
Valentin is tired of being forced to do things that he doesn’t want to do; because of Victor’s blackmail, he’s lied to his girlfriend which he doesn’t want to do. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is already suspicious that he wasn’t in rehab all that time that included when she was in French Polynesia and he had a close call! Victor overheard her on a telephone call to the rehab where Valentin was supposedly at and confronted her, wanting to know what her relationship exactly is with his son! Valentin had warned Victor that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was planning to try and have him deported, but then he tasked him with spoiling her plans by taking her out! But when it came time to do it Valentin backed out – he was going to spike her tea with poison but then knocked it off the table!
General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Betrays Victor Cassadine To Anna Devane
Valentin decides he doesn’t care about the Cassadine crest or the ring Victor gave him; he’s making plenty of money between his investments in Deception Cosmetics and being CEO of ELQ. All he cares about is getting Charlotte out of that boarding school and to safety and out from under his father’s influence! When he hears that Victor confronted Anna from her, he decides he has had enough and he comes clean about everything, including that he was the French Naval Captain!
Valentin explains to Anna that it was Victor, not him, that put Charlotte in the boarding school and he’s using her to blackmail him. That included getting the Ice Princess into Jennifer Smith’s (Holly Gagnier) hotel safe to cover up his involvement in Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) death, and the WSB agents were plants!
GH Spoilers – Anna Devane Blindsided, Not As Much As Victor Cassadine!
Anna is blindsided over the WSB agents in French Polynesia being plants; she knew one of them and trusted him, and Valentin tells her there are many loyal to Victor! Anna and Valentin must work on a caper to rescue Charlotte, without Victor being wise to it, and Valentin also brings Laura into the loop. Laura has never trusted Valentin but his betrayal of Victor begins to redeem him to her; Valentin must operate like a double agent but on Anna and Laura’s side! When Laura gets a message that her mother is ill and she must travel to Europe, Valentin tells her it’s a trap. They work with agents proven trustworthy through WSB Director Frisco Jones (last played by Jack Wagner) to free Charlotte and trap Victor, and he’s blindsided by his son’s betrayal!

Yes ,I like that Valentin tells Anna and Laura and that the plan they put together brings Victor down..They get Charlotte home safe…
In my opinion, Val was doing quite fine until writers decided to bring his father into the picture. Hope things will change again for him once he kicks Victor to the curb.
Send Victor to wherever Helena is laying low. Their time has come and gone and are no longer relevant to the landscape. Know when to “cry uncle” on a charecter. And while you’re pondering, ponder Esme and Spencer out also.
Finally a decent storyline! I like it!!
Let Victor save Trina first! Then give him what’s coming to him!
