General Hospital Spoilers: ‘Vanna’ Hits The Sheets

General Hospital - Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)General Hospital spoilers tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that after a very dangerous situation, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will finally consummate their relationship. They had been trying to rescue an unwilling Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) from Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) aboard the Haunted Star where they narrowly escaped detection.

General Hospital Spoilers – Closer After A Close Call

After their close calls trying to rescue Lucy, who decided to keep playing Victor and plying him for information, Valentin and Anna go back to her townhouse. They sit down on the floor in front of the fireplace and talk about what they had just been through and of course, about Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McClain). That is part of the intel Lucy’s trying to get out of him, where he has Valentin’s daughter and if she’s okay.

Victor has been dodging Valentin’s requests to visit Charlotte for months, albeit that has been his blackmail to get Valentin to work for him. Valentin is so worried about her that he even tells Anna he might have to murder his own father.

GH Spoilers – Sexy Spy Games

James Patrick Stuart notes in the Soap Opera Digest preview that what Valentin and Anna find sexy isn’t exactly normal, as they talk about some pretty dark things. The whole atmosphere of the danger and yet the reward of what spies do when they investigate and then close their cases is a turn on for both. Valentin and Anna have known each other and of each other for many years, having attended WSB Spy School together, perhaps longer than she’s known Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). Valentin has pined for Anna for decades, becoming involved with her twin Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) at one point, thinking she was Anna. Even when he was married to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) he loved Anna also, a fact that wasn’t lost on Nina.

General Hospital Spoilers – Give Up, It Happens

As with many other things in life, Valentin had given up on ever having a romance or more with Anna, so of course now that he’s given up, it happens. One thing leads to another during their deep conversation in front of Anna’s fireplace, and it ends up in bed. Valentin came to the point of acceptance that it would never happen for him with her and then she came to him.

When it happens, it is miles away from being the unhealthy obsession that he harbored for Anna for so many years. Their love and their relationship is sealed after many years and they are honest and profess their true love for one another.

GH Spoilers – Back To The Search

After a perfect night together, Valentin is no longer afraid he’ll mess up his relationship with Anna, and it’s back to the search. Their prime objective, even more than proving Victor’s hand in Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) murder, is finding Charlotte and rescuing her. Lucy made her own choice, and hopefully it is the right one, but if it’s not, they stand ready to rescue her from Victor as well. But the most important objective is to bring father and daughter back together and make sure Charlotte is truly safe. They go back to strategizing how to make that happen.
