General Hospital Spoilers: Veronica Cartwright Debuts As Ava’s Psychic

General Hospital spoilers tease that the mystery top secret role that Veronica Cartwright has been pegged to play for a five episode arc is that of the psychic that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is using to try to contact her late daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) by means of a séance. Monday, July 8 will be her first appearance.

The mystery role was announced about a month ago, with the only clue being a promo still of Veronica Cartwright’s character and Ava Jerome in a restaurant. The psychic has not been given a name, but perhaps the character will introduce herself by name in Monday’s General Hospital episode where she will meet with Ava.

Since it is a five episode arc, it is not clear whether she will appear every day of the week of July 8 or if Veronica’s guest appearances will be spread out over more than one week in five separate episodes.

In General Hospital spoiler previews for Monday, July 8th’s episode, Ava is shown meeting with the psychic, who she apparently knows from somewhere previously, trying to keep her on task as she is somewhat annoyed and reminds her that she’s there to talk about Kiki, not catch up on old times or talk about other things. Perhaps her psychic friend wants to know more about Ava to give her a better reading, but either way somehow she is not giving Ava the impression that she will be able to contact Kiki.

General Hospital viewers will remember Veronica Cartwright from the procedural drama “LA Law” where she played Assistant District Attorney Margaret Flanagan, Lambert in the movie “Alien” and Felicia Alden in the movie “The Witches of Eastwick.” She began as a child actress, and she is the older sister of Angela Cartwright; Veronica played Jemima Boone in the Daniel Boone tv show in the 1960s, as well as roles in the movies “The Children’s Hour”, “Spencer’s Mountain”, and as Clarence “Lumpy” Rutherford’s (Frank Bank) younger sister Viola Rutherford in the tv show “Leave It to Beaver” and has been in many other tv shows and movies in her career.

It looks like we’re in for a great episode on Friday! As always, more detailed Spoilers and Breaking news will appear here on Celebrating The Soaps!
