General Hospital viewers will recall that onboard The Haunted Star at Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) memorial service, Tracy brought Laura Collins (Genie Francis) a small jewelry box, telling Laura it belonged to her. Laura told Tracy if it was the Ice Princess, she didn’t want it and Tracy should throw it in the ocean, because it never brought anyone anything but trouble; Tracy told Laura she couldn’t do that and walked away with it.

General Hospital viewers will also recall that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) came to The Haunted Star earlier and that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) was with him; Laura kicked Victor out of the memorial! But Spencer stayed and he was very interested in the diamond if that indeed was the infamous “Ice Princess” diamond – he was mesmerized and wanted to hold it, which is probably what prompted Laura to tell Tracy to get rid of it! The last thing Laura wanted was the curse of the Ice Princess to come down on her grandson, or to feed his obsession with the evil members of the Cassadine family!

GH Spoilers And Rumors – Victor Cassadine Arranged For The Cable Car Accident In Which Luke Spencer Was Presumably Killed

General Hospital viewers will recall that Victor recently revealed via a phone call a few weeks back that he was the one who had arranged for the cable car accident in which Luke was presumably killed. General Hospital viewers also will recall that he used the wording “neutralized” which could mean merely held captive, and not killed, although he also called off the hit on Laura because of Luke’s “neutralization.”

Victor likely put the hit on both Laura and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to throw suspicion on Cyrus Renault, (Jeff Kober) who denied to Laura that he was involved in that hit but that the danger was still out there. There is a good possibility that the hit on Laura, the cable car accident that presumably killed Luke, and Victor’s appearance at Luke’s memorial are all connected to The Ice Princess!

General Hospital viewers wonder why would Victor want the Ice Princess in the first place, to control the weather and therefore the people, or for the money it might bring him? Victor doesn’t seem to be short on money, but he warned the remaining Cassadine family that they need to be a united front for what’s coming next, but what could that be? Victor also toasted Luke after the memorial, saying that Port Charles is in for a big surprise and calling him the “champion of Port Charles”– could that have something to do with Victor wanting the Ice Princess?

Victor doesn’t seem particularly fond of his late brother Mikkos, so he probably doesn’t want it for sentimental reasons; although it could certainly be considered a Cassadine family heirloom, and family is very important to Victor! The jury’s still out on whether Victor is duplicitous and evil or perhaps not as dangerous in his own age; maybe he just wants the Ice Princess so he can solve global warming, fans will have to wait and see!
