In the past, Victor was rather fixated on Liesl, so he did some extreme things in hopes of reigniting their romance. If Victor secretly survived all the mayhem in Greenland, then maybe he made Obrecht a reunion offer she couldn’t refuse.
Liesl was devastated when Britt died, so she would’ve done anything to get her daughter back. If Victor could make that happen for Obrecht, she might’ve been grateful enough to join forces and embrace sinister power couple status.
Since we know Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) has an impatient boss who’ll ultimately be revealed, that could be Victor. There are also reasons to think the courier that was mentioned will be Britt, so she may be tangled up in all this.
With all the rumblings about Professor Dalton’s GH storyline potentially connecting to clones, it’s possible that Victor essentially gave Liesl a recreation of Britt to ease her suffering.
It’s also possible that somehow a clone was the one who died – meaning this Britt could be the real deal. After all, someone who looked just like Victor faced a grim fate in Greenland, so maybe some clone drama was already afoot if that wasn’t really him.
If this is genuinely Britt, connecting her storyline to Victor could offer a path to undoing her Huntington’s disease. There was always speculation that maybe that diagnosis wasn’t legit since Victor was manipulating things behind the scenes.

At one point, Victor lured Obrecht into a trap involving a fake medical symposium for inherited diseases.
Victor also seemed to know more than he should about Britt’s health at the time, so there’s some wiggle room when it comes to reversing Britt’s condition.
Despite Britt’s symptoms, Victor might’ve been pulling the strings and making things seem worse than they actually were to control Liesl.
Then again, maybe Britt ultimately became a lab rat for some experimental treatment that only Victor could arrange. That could’ve been part of Victor’s resurrection package and the ultimate gift for Obrecht.
Whatever the case, we won’t be surprised if Victor is the reason Britt is alive – and Liesl may already know about it!

It would explain why Obrecht has been MIA all this time if she’s been off canvas plotting with Victor and enjoying Britt’s survival.

Seriously? We watched Britt die because she was not able to get the antidote in time to save her. Dr. O and Scott’s relationship ended because she held Scott responsible for her daughter’s death.
Britt died because of the poison on Heather’s hook which she was hit with. There wasn’t enough time for Dr..O to get her to the hospital for the antidote to be administered to Britt to save her life. She died in her mom’s arms. Dr. O felt Scott was partially the blame because he knew Esme was not the hook killer but did not tell the police allowing them to focus on Esme instead of looking for the real killer.
This is getting ridiculous now , this is getting out of hand with all the unbelievable science that is happening it’s getting to be like the twilight zone
