General Hospital Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Gave Valentin Cassadine Kill Orders
General Hospital viewers will recall that Victor kidnapped Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in a recent episode of General Hospital. Victor gave Valentin some very interesting information, but it seemed to be pointed towards things that Victor knew Valentin wanted to hear. Thanks to Victor’s apparently large network of spies, he knew every detail of Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) life when he kidnapped her. Victor likely knows every detail of Valentin’s as well, from being disproven as the Cassadine heir in Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) line to finding out that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) was his mother.
Victor’s narrative to Valentin was that he was his father and the man who was having the affair with Helena when she gave birth to Valentin. This would again, if it is true, make Valentin a Cassadine and although he wouldn’t be Mikkos’ heir he would be Victor’s. Valentin doesn’t have a problem with Victor’s kill orders directed at Peter August (Wes Ramsey) – but he does have a problem with being manipulated! Valentin is definitely taking Victor’s family history lesson with a grain of salt the size of a horse pill!
GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Wonders If Victor Cassadine Has Hidden Agendas
General Hospital viewers can imagine that Valentin wonders if Victor has hidden agendas behind his revelation regarding his paternity! Valentin knows from Liesl that she had told Victor her late son Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) was Victor’s when in fact he was not. Valentin remembers how secretive she was when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) wanted to know more about Nathan’s paternity for medical reasons, and she’d come up behind him and pulled a hair out of his head!
Of course, even if Nathan had been a Cassadine if Valentin wasn’t the DNA wouldn’t have matched anyway, but Liesl had mentioned to Valentin in the past that Victor had wanted to bond with Nathan when he thought he was his son. Why didn’t Victor want to bond with Valentin? Valentin had a terrible childhood in a boarding school and suffering from severe scoliosis; if Victor, who later became the head of the Crichton-Clark Clinic and the WSB knew he was his father, why wasn’t his scoliosis corrected when he was a child? Those are some pretty valid questions and General Hospital viewers also want to know the answers!
General Hospital Spoilers – Playing Along Or Acting In Concert With Peter August
Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that it was Victor who convinced Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) to come to Cassadine Island to the Cassadines’ cryogenic lab. He told her he wanted her to bring Helena and Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker-Kelly) to life, with the promise she could also bring Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) back to life, who was also there in cryogenic stasis. General Hospital viewers later learned this wasn’t Jason, it was Drew Cain (now Cameron Mathison). Peter had stashed Jason in the Boronsky Clinic in Russia.
Then, Robin agreed after previously turning Victor down. It wasn’t long before Robin told Victor that she had a breakthrough. However, she wanted to test the medicine on Stavros and Helena first. Victor then had her restrained and he injected the medicine into Drew; at first it appeared he may have died, but Robin managed to revive him. Victor then told Robin he didn’t need her anymore and planned to “tap into Jason’s potential”. Victor likely knew this wasn’t Jason, but Drew, who Helena had wanted to make into her “toy soldier”. He then had his goons take Robin away while he stayed with “Jason”. General Hospital viewers will note that Valentin likely knows most of this narrative and he will continue to wonder if Victor is really playing along with Peter, or if he is trying to manipulate him and is really acting in concert with Peter!
