General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Asks For Victor Cassadine’s Help
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) had asked for Victor’s help in finding information about Esmé and who she really is recently. Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco) had hit dead ends when trying to find the nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald (uncast character) whom Spencer had found letters from in Esmé’s no longer secret shoebox! Spencer also hit dead ends with trying to trace the pills he found, with the label peeled off the bottle although he was able to identify them as Tramadol.
Tramadol mixed with rum in a hot toddy definitely would have knocked Trina out the night of the ski trip. When Spencer tells Victor that part, he’s surprised the combination didn’t kill her – tramadol is a powerful opioid pain pill and Victor can tell this girl is very dangerous!
GH Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Could Easily Just Have Esmé Prince Kidnapped Or Killed
Victor could easily just have Esmé kidnapped or killed, but that wouldn’t help exonerate Trina, and Victor’s trying to promote Cassadine family unity. He can tell Spencer cares a great deal for the girl or he wouldn’t be trying so hard to expose his duplicitous girlfriend, stringing her along to expose her. That is a very Cassadine thing for Spencer to do and that makes Victor proud of him. Spencer tells him about how he and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) plotted to fake a match between Esmé and a woman in Portugal Victor’s men found. They would DNA from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for the match, but Spencer was waylaid by Esmé and Cameron couldn’t do both.

General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Tells Victor Cassadine The Rest Of The Plot
Spencer then tells Victor the rest of the plot, how he was going to bribe Esmé into a confession by offering her the identity of her birth mother! Again the elder Cassadine is pleased, but thinking about Esmé drugging Trina and Spencer trying to trick her into a confession gives him an idea. The trial is starting and he has his plant in the mayor’s office, Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) find out the roster of witnesses for the prosecution and the defense.
Victor finds that both Spencer and Esmé have to testify because they were at the Corinthos cabin the night that the revenge porn was filmed. Victor himself coaches Spencer before the trial as to how he should answer, and tells him he’ll make sure that Esmé confesses and he’ll make sure she’s questioned appropriately!
GH Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Obtains Sodium Pentothal And Drugs Esmé Prince Prior To Questioning

With the help of Eileen Ashby, Victor drugs Esmé with sodium pentothal prior to her being called up to be questioned; a very simple process. In the witness’s room she brings her something to drink with the drug already in it; it’s timed for it to be effective when she’s on the stand. He also arranges for the assistant district attorney not to be available and puts his own plant in place, as well as creating a distraction for DA Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers)! Team Trina is put on alert and worried as so many things are going wrong, but little do they suspect what will happen; Esmé is called up and questioned. The substitute ADA is prepared with a “special” set of questions, leading Esmé to confess to filming the video and framing Trina, and Trina, family and friends stand up and cheer!

I so hope that Victor's plan works! I can't wait to see the look on Esme's face after she realizes she confessed to her nefarious (almost) effective plan against Trina, Joss & Cameron. The only thing that worries me is after the confession how will the writer's keep Esme on the show. I can't stand the condescending attitude that Esme has but the actress is phenomenal in the part. She really does make the show exciting with her devious ways (lol)

About time this storyline is done. Esme needs to go!!!
Just how many people are going to "save" Trina. Will it be Selina or Victor or neither. Don't care who does the deed, but Trina definitely has been through enough due to Esme's foolishness which needs to come to an end. Hope she is only a one story character and will be removed from canvas when the truth is exposed.
Agree with you. There are too many unfinished or unresolved story lines on canvas that need cleaning up.
Esme doesn't excite me, just disgusts me. Anyone who can get away with all of their misdeeds is not needed. As I said previously, hope she is removed from canvas. Nelle really hasn't been gone long enough to have another character of her persona lingering around to cause trouble.
If the storyline playa out like this, I am pulling out the bubbly and cheering. I hope Nicholas is exposed as well.

I think that Esme is like Heather Webber .. the villain we all loved and hated with equal measure. Esme will slither out of this or get herself an early pardon after helping Ryan escape and the blaming all of it on him. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
She'll be back after going to prison, helping Ryan escape and then playing a role in his re-capture. She'll blame "mind control" on him .. she'll be out early and return to PC, kinda like Heather Webber .. we all loved AND hated her, for decades.
Trina is a good kid, she needs all the help necessary.
