General Hospital Spoilers: Victor’s Reign Over Charlotte Has Only Just Begun

General Hospital spoilers reveal Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) may be dead and gone, but his memory and motives live on. It’s hard to say how many more of Victor’s mind games have yet to surface. When he was killed in the explosion in Greenland aboard the Haunted Star, his trail of games was already set in motion in the wake of his death.

A news report that decimated Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) life was just the start of his plan for her. Certainly, he had more sinister plans in mind for his arch enemy. Seeing her home burned to the ground would have given him great pleasure, but something tells us the worst is yet to come.

A spellbinding letter and a stack of tarot cards could prove to be more powerful than anyone expected. Young Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) seems to be as impressionable as they come. Will she carry out Victor’s vendetta against Anna and ruin her own life in the process?

Fans seem pretty split on this storyline. The tarot cards aren’t for the faint at heart, but we all get the symbolism and emphasis they add to the plot.

Still, knowing how much damage Victor caused when Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was under his tarot-induced spell makes us feel all the more certain that Charlotte is in real trouble.

At the same time, it’s rather hard to believe Victor could have so much control over Charlotte from a mere letter. Wouldn’t some actually brainwashing have to be involved?

GH Spoilers – Hint Victor Cassadine May Not Be Dead

Of course, it’s a trademark soap move to have the bad guy live on for months or even years to come after their death. But is that what’s happening here? Or are we being primed for Victor’s return where he announces he never died to begin with?

We’re all of his tricks — from sending Laura Collins (Genie Francis) out of the country on a wild goose chase, to leading Anna to the truth that blew up her life — all purely for his entertainment as he watched from the sidelines? Is Victor coming back?

General Hospital Spoilers — Charlotte Cassadine Could End Up That Way

Unfortunately, it appears that Charlotte is quite lost in her mission to draw her father nearer, no matter the cost. But on the way down, she’s going to take Anna with her.

So far, we only know that Victor’s letter to Charlotte imparted some preconceived and lofty notions about Anna, but we haven’t the faintest idea why Charlotte believed her grandfather.

Rumor has it we may learn soon just how he managed to cement his own beliefs into Charlotte’s brain, and tarot cards are just the tip of the iceberg.
