For decades Finn (Michael Easton) has claimed that his estrangement from his father was because he moved on too soon. However, General Hospital fans know that this is not the case. Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) fell in love with the roving reporter shortly after his wife passed away. Unfortunately, Finn fell in love with Jackie (Kim Delaney) as well and the two consummated their relationship that night before she married Gregory.

Jackie secretly hoped that Finn would stop the wedding but he chose not to. However, this marriage put a strain on the relationship with Finn’s father and caused their estrangement. Finn hadn’t been in contact with his family for years until his little brother moved to Port Charles.

GH Spoilers – Gregory Chase Wanted A Relationship With Hamilton Finn

When General Hospital’s Finn and Chase reunited in Port Charles it was not a happy occasion. As a matter of fact, when the two reconnected, Chase was there to arrest Finn for assaulting Julian Jerome (William DeVry).

The two brothers had no idea they were in the same city at the time. Of course, their reunion led to an argument but they eventually reconnected. Finn and Chase began to act like family only Chase wanted to involve their father as well. Gregory and Jackie have always been a sticking point for Finn but only he and Jackie know the real reason why. However, with Jackie set to arrive back in Port Charles soon that could easily change.

General Hospital’s Finn was obviously hurt when the woman he loved married his father. Finn thought that Jackie would break things off with Gregory and they could get on with their relationship. However, Jackie wasn’t going to walk away without Finn asking her to do so.

It stands to reason that Finn was hurt even worse by Jackie and Gregory’s decision to have a child together. However, has Finn considered the possibility of Chase being his son and not his brother? Although there has been no mention of this between Finn and Jackie, veteran soap fans have questioned this relationship from day one.

General Hospital’s Chase’s desire to be close to Finn doesn’t seem like a brotherly pull to him. The affair between Finn and Jackie can’t simply being a one-night stand would have no bearing on the story. Fans are certain that Finn is indeed Chase’s father.
