General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, April 22 – Willow Drops ‘Affair’ Bomb on Michael – Nelle & Nina Bond – Liz Seeks Out Sonny

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, April 22, tease that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will realize she’s been setup. Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) will admit to it and won’t seem a bit sorry about it. Since Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will join them right as this conversation is happening, it’s possible the setup involves pushing this mother and daughter to talk.

However, GH also left some loose ends dangling with that opera house drama. Alexis initially suspected that Alexis set that night with Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) in motion, so was it really just a series of coincidences? That might be a topic that comes up again now – especially since Alexis will come back to bite her in the coming episodes.

Regardless, Alexis will catch up with Sam and Diane on Wednesday. This will serve as a good opportunity for Alexis to hear Sam’s apology and ultimately accept it. It’ll be nice to see Alexis and Sam get their relationship back on track.

General Hospital Spoilers: Nina and Nelle Get Closer

Meanwhile, another mother and daughter will bond – although they don’t realize they’re mother and daughter just yet! General Hospital spoilers say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will learn more about Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) and bond with her in the process. Nina will even deliver some advice about taking advantage of opportunities that come along.

While Nelle and Nina connect, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will drop the betrayal bomb on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Will Michael express suspicions over Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) “affair” with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson)? If Michael and Willow really think about this, maybe they can figure out that it was a plan to push them into marriage.

Regardless, Sasha will struggle over their desperate strategy and the heartbreak it’s causing all four of them. Despite Sasha’s doubts, Chase will be adamant that they had to do what’s best for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). Chase will wonder if Sasha thinks Willow and Michael would be happier with Wiley or with them. The answer is clearly Wiley in Chase’s opinion, so he’ll stand by their actions.

Over with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), it looks like she’ll talk to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at Turning Woods. Liz will speak with Sonny, but it won’t take him long to figure out she has something more specific in mind to discuss.

Could this be about protecting Jake Webber (Hudson West) from Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) ties to all this Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) danger? We can’t forget that Jake is Jason’s son, too.

Whether Liz talks to Sonny about that or something else, General Hospital spoilers say Liz will indeed fret about one of her sons on Wednesday. If that isn’t Jake, it could be Cameron Webber (William Lipton) since he’s still dealing with some trauma from the shootout ordeal.
