General Hospital Spoilers Wednesday, December 23: Carly Lies About Sonny To Save Christmas – Maxie’s Gift For Lulu – Michael Stuns Lucas

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, December 23, tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will do something special for the holidays. Since it’s almost time to celebrate Christmas Eve in the Corinthos home, Josslyn and Michael will want to make sure the halls are appropriately decked! They’ll put up some extra Christmas decorations before Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) get back.

Sadly, Carly and Jason won’t have Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with them, so it seems Carly will downplay the danger and make bogus excuses for Sonny’s absence. Carly will still want to believe Sonny’s OK – and she won’t want to put a damper on the Christmas Eve fun.

Speaking of Christmas Eve fun, it looks like Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau) will have some. General Hospital spoilers say Michael will make a surprising move on Wednesday. Lucas may be treated to some one-on-one time with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).

General Hospital Spoilers – Luca Jones Illegally Adopted Dad

GH fans know Lucas inadvertently became Wiley’s illegally adopted dad thanks to all the baby swap drama. Lucas was crushed when he had to give Wiley back – and he doesn’t seem to spend much time with Wiley now. Michael may feel like this Christmas Eve would be a good opportunity for Lucas and Wiley to reestablish their connection.

However, the news of Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) death is already starting to spread. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) heard about it from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) – and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) got a phone call about Julian’s demise as well. Who will notify Lucas about Julian’s grim fate?

GH Spoilers -Michael Corinthos’s Shocker

It’s possible Michael’s shocker will involve Julian updates if he gets them from Jason. Whatever the case, Lucas will have to deal with that bombshell sooner or later. Across town, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will head over to Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) place for a small holiday gathering.

It’s safe to say there’ll be plenty of tension, no matter how hard Curtis and Jordan try to hide it. Curtis was hurt and furious over Jordan keeping him out of the loop on Marcus Taggert’s (Asante Jones) faked death plot. The string of that betrayal isn’t something Curtis can just get over immediately.

As a result, this could be one awkward Christmas party! Molly and TJ may wonder what’s up, so we’ll see if they get an explanation. If they do, Molly’s mind might wander to her own deception about sleeping with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). Part of Molly may worry she’s setting her relationship up for major damage by keeping quiet.

General Hospital Spoilers – Brando Corbin Busy

Regardless, let’s talk about what Brando will be doing on Wednesday. It turns out Brando will be busy getting yelled at by Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). GH spoilers say Sasha won’t appreciate Brando’s warning and all his hovering. Sasha will just want Brando to leave her alone, but he can’t do that – not when she’s pressing her luck with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and putting her own life in jeopardy.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will meet up with Curtis on this Christmas Eve and deliver some advice. Curtis might get a nudge in the direction of forgiving Jordan. Although Portia hates how Jordan handled this, she might recognize that Jordan’s remorseful and thought she was protecting Curtis. Since it’s Christmas, Portia might find some compassion in her heart.

The holidays will bring some bittersweet scenes for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) as she looks forward to having a baby girl with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) – all while missing Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) terribly. General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will figure out a way to honor someone who can’t be around for Christmas. It’s possible Maxie will want to name her baby that honors Lulu somehow.

As for Sonny, where will he be as the holiday festivities wind down? Sonny obviously isn’t dead, so maybe GH viewers will see a brief clip of him with a head wound somewhere.
