Fans can expect Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to be burning alive. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) confides in Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

GH Spoilers: Michael Corinthos’ Flaming Crisis

On Wednesday, January 8, fans can expect Michael to be on fire! Michael was inside Sonny’s penthouse when there was an explosion. Michael’s jacket is covered with flames.

Clearly not thinking clearly and in a state of panic, Michael is running around screaming instead of dropping and rolling. Of course, many people panic in a crisis even though they know what to do and it seems this is what is happening to Michael.

Jason Morgan & Sonny Corinthos’ Rescue

General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, January 8 reveal that when Jason and Sonny get to the penthouse, Michael is screaming for help.

Jason and Sonny will do what they can, but in a preview clip, they seem to have trouble finding a way past the flames. 

In the end, Michael does make it. Duell said it was written so the door was open on a possible return. So, it seems like Michael might end up going to a burn facility outside of Port Charles, then he can come back as himself or with a brand new face!

Of course, in the meantime, everyone will want answers.

General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, January 8, 2025

On Wednesday, January 8, fans can also expect Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to deliver bad news. Portia confides in Isaiah, which is most likely about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and the dying patients.

Also, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) opens up to Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). 

So, now I really wonder if Chase and BLQ might raise Sasha’s baby! It’s also possible that Chase might pose as the baby daddy.

It would seem very soapy for BLQ to “approve” of the cover story to protect Sasha, Michael, as well as the child. Unfortunately, Sidwell Jenz (Carlo Rota) isn’t far behind…
