General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, January 16, tease that Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will go to Maxie West (Kirsten Storms) with a big demand: cancel Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) book event before it becomes a crime scene. Jordan will feel pretty confident that the Port Charles serial killer is going to strike again, and that it will all be connected to a big event. But will Maxie be able to stop Lucy’s event?
Meanwhile, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will sit down with Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) and issue some direct advice about getting intel on the serial killer case. He’ll tell her that she can’t get someone at the PCPD to talk, she should find someone who will. That could be dangerous advice, especially if she ends up approaching Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) for details.
Next, on the new GH episode on Wednesday, January 16, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will meet with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and tell him that he won’t be seeing her around much anymore. It seems that Ava might be seriously considering Ryan’s suggestion that they leave Port Charles together. But does that mean that she’d leave Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) behind, or does she have a plan to get Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to relinquish custody?

Speaking of Ryan, he’ll make a request to Laura Collins (Genie Francis), which she’ll promptly decline. Ryan has been awfully worried about Laura’s interest in touring mental health facilities, such as Ferncliff, so he may offer to take on that duty himself under her administration. But Laura will have none of it, and she’ll turn Ryan down flat.
Finally, on Wednesday, January 16, Mike Corbin (Max Gail) will have a big meltdown at the Corinthos house. It seems that he won’t recognize Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), and he’ll get agitated and issue a threat to Sonny. Mike’s condition is worsening right in front of Sonny’s eyes, and that may push Sonny into making a decision about the nature of Mike’s care.
