‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Wednesday, July 1: Sidwell Traps Sonny, Carly Cornered, Cassius Exposed & Brennan Dying

General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, July 1, are in! Fans can expect to see Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) placed in a dire situation, while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) panics.

Plus, Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) issues an SOS, as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is cornered. Find out more about Wednesday’s episode below.

Sonny Corinthos Is Lured

General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, July 1, reveal that Sonny will be lured into a trap.

It sounds like Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will somehow get the mob boss to come to Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) gallery, which is when he’ll get ambushed.

During tomorrow’s preview, there’s a clip where Sidwell tells ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) that they’ll see just how valuable she really is.

Will Sidwell use ADA Turner as a pawn to get Sonny over to the gallery? All arrows are pointing to this idea.

 

Ava Jerome’s Fury

Regardless, General Hospital spoilers also hint that Ava will unleash her fury on someone, so it sounds like she’ll give Sidwell a piece of her mind for attempting to murder her nephew, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).

Still, before Sonny heads out, he’ll finish up his talk with Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).

His grandson will make it crystal clear he’s not moving out of his grandfather’s place, although he may change his mind in the aftermath of what Sidwell has planned!

Carly Spencer Is Cornered

Meanwhile, there’s also Carly to worry about. She was headed to Wyndemere during the Tuesday, June 30 show to save Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

It looks like Carly will overhear some shocking news, but she’ll also be intercepted by WSB Director Ross Cullum.

In General Hospital’s promo for Wednesday’s episode, Cullum has Carly cornered as he tells her, “You saved me a trip.”

The villain has a dastardly grin as he’s saying this, so Carly is in major danger!

In the Wyndemere tunnels, Joss and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will work together to escape.

Joss can be seen in the video telling the doctor, “Are you sure that’s the right wire?” Will Joss end up saving Carly’s life (instead of the other way around)?

 

Nina Reeves Is Panicked

Over at Turning Woods, Nina will act fast to help Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).

Cullum tied his hands to the bed and placed a fatal gas mask over his face to kill him during the June 30 show.

Nina found the WSB head helpless and fading fast in his at the close of the episode, so here’s hoping she’s able to save him.

In the promo for tomorrow’s show, Nina has removed the mask from his face; however, she gets very emotional when she notices he’s not breathing. Will Brennan be okay?

Joe Fitzpatrick’s SOS

General Hospital spoilers for July 1 suggest that Lucas will be completely caught off guard.

The preview video for the episode shows Joe at the hospital, at the nurse’s station, as he’s on the phone.

The cop has called the PCPD, asking to place an APB on Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).

Lucas looks shocked, and he’ll be one of many who can’t believe that Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) duped him and the town for as long as he did!

Speaking of Cassius, he’ll be on his way out of the batting cages with James West (Gary James Fuller), as Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) stops them.

Cody’s phone wasn’t working all of Tuesday’s, so he wasn’t able to get the desperate message from Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) to keep James from “Nathan”.

He eventually did retrieve his messages at the close of June 30, and as Cody loves that kid like his own son, he’ll do anything and everything to keep the boy safe.

Could he lose his life in the process? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
