General Hospital Spoilers Wednesday, May 13: Ava Crushed Over Avery – Chase Distracted on the Job – Carly Needs Help

General Hospital (GH) spoilers & updates for Wednesday, May 13, tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will help Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) with a task he wants to accomplish. It looks like Laura will be more concerned about Robert’s well-being in the aftermath of Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) death, but Robert will want to get back down to business. He’ll think they should pick up where they left off.

There’s no word on what project Robert will be tackling, but it might involve swirling suspicions about Holly’s demise. Whatever the case, Laura will do her best to be there for Robert, who’s had it rough lately. Next, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will get an earful from a frustrated Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). Olivia will feel out of the loop as she shouts at Lulu to tell her what’s going on.

This might connect to Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) storyline or perhaps some other curveball on Wednesday. Regardless, Olivia will decide she’s had it! We’ll see if Lulu can tell her former mother-in-law what she wants to know.

Over with Ava Jerome (Maura West), she’ll enjoy a rare visit with Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Avery will end up asking Ava a question that may shatter her in that moment. General Hospital’s Wednesday preview video shows Avery asking if she’ll forget Ava, too. Ava looks stunned, so what’s this all about?

Maybe Ava will mention a memory Avery made with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) – at least one she thought Avery made. If Avery can’t remember as much about Kiki as Ava hoped, the kid might think she’s going to forget Ava as well. After all, Avery doesn’t see her mom very much thanks to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

Heartbreak For Ava Jerome On General Hospital

Ava will undoubtedly reassure Avery, but this should leave her crushed deep down. The last thing Ava would want is for Avery to forget her, especially since Kiki’s dead and gone. At the PCPD, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will sense that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has someone else to be. Since Chase will be so distracted on the job, Mac will encourage him to just go take care of whatever it is.

Unfortunately, it’s not quite that simple! Chase will surely be thinking about Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) marriage to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). It’ll be Michael and Willow’s first morning as husband and wife, so Chase may find himself spinning out a bit. Will Chase consider telling Willow about the cheating sham and blowing things up?

While Chase tries to deal with his difficult emotions, Willow will worry that this last-ditch wedding won’t be enough. Michael will continue to be Willow’s rock as they prepare for the custody battle. He’ll be confident they’re going to get custody of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) and keep Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) at bay.

However, Nelle is clearly hoping to get hitched as well! Julian Jerome (William deVry) is the husband Nelle thinks she can land, so she’ll put that blackmail material to good use – even if it’s offscreen for now. Elsewhere, Carly will go to someone and seek some much-needed advice. Although Carly isn’t always great about following guidance, she might get some helpful tips she can use this time.

At Turning Woods, GH spoilers say Sonny will have another heartbreaking visit with his father. Mike Corbin (Max Gail) will remain unresponsive for the most part, so it’ll be tough for Sonny to find out what he wants to know. Sonny has to make a decision on Mike’s DNR, but he can’t be sure Mike would want to die.
