General Hospital Spoilers Week Of January 2: Shocks, Stuns, And Surprises

General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of January 2-6 tease shocks, stuns, and surprises for Port Charles. A shocking attack by the Hook takes a new victim, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is stunned, and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) gets a surprising call.

General Hospital Spoilers – Monday Pre-Emption

First, you should know that Monday’s episode for January 2 will be pre-empted by college football. The Citrus Bowl will air in General Hospital’s time slot with LSU playing Purdue, but soapy drama will return as usual on Tuesday, January 3. Be sure to check your local listings.

Nothing has been announced should the Citrus Bowl be postponed due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. But usually, if something like that happens, ABC will air a repeat performance of GH.

GH Spoilers –  The Hook Attacks As Celebrations Take Place

Tuesday picks up from Friday’s cliffhanger which showed the Hook approaching Josslyn Jacks, (Eden McCoy) who cowered in terror on the pier, getting ready to go to The Haunted Star. Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) party was still going strong, and Joss was headed over there as Britt herself is elsewhere waiting on her transportation to come.

General Hospital - Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez)

Britt was planning to leave Port Charles so her family and friends wouldn’t see her deteriorate and die from her Huntington’s Disease. Meanwhile, away from Port Charles, Josslyn’s mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) celebrates the new year with Drew Cain, (Cameron Mathison) oblivious to the danger her daughter’s in back home.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cassadines In Chaos

Also on Tuesday, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will be in a panic while his son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) will be stunned. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will find Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) missing from her room at Wyndemere after and demand answers, Nikolas revealing she jumped off the parapet. Elizabeth doesn’t see how Esmé could have survived, although Nikolas searched and couldn’t find her.

Back on The Haunted Star, Spencer will make some romantic time with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) in an effort to smoke out Esmé, who he assumes is the Hook. The Hook was on the boat before coming after Josslyn on the docks, and Spencer and Trina may still be in danger!

GH Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Opens Up To Sam McCall

Rounding out Tuesday, a Cassadine cousin enjoys time with her boyfriend at Kelly’s. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will open up to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about issues with his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). He’ll ask Sam how justice looks when it’s applied to his father, who’s made a very dangerous deal recently. They may not be able to finish their talk, as he’ll likely be called into action over the Hook attack.

General Hospital Spoilers – Catching Up, Doubts, Detective Work

On Wednesday, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) catches up with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) while Laura Collins (Genie Francis) catches up with Ava Cassadine (Maura West). Elsewhere, Trina will continue to have her doubts about her and Spencer’s detective work while Nikolas and Elizabeth will continue theirs to locate Esmé. As for Dante, he’ll be at the hospital interrogating a patient.

The patient Dante interrogates will likely be the victim of the Hook attack. This could be Josslyn, or it could be someone who jumped in to save her.

GH Spoilers – Martin Grey’s New Client, Felicia Scorpio’s Suggestion

On Thursday, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) takes on a new client, while Heather Webber (Alley Mills) defends her actions. It’s possible that Martin’s new client may be Heather, who could have gotten caught up in the Hook drama as a suspect. Elsewhere, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will make a helpful suggestion to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) as tragic news spreads through Port Charles, the Hook victim apparently not making it. Elizabeth will seek Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) assistance, and this could be related to coping with her stress from the Esmé situation.

General Hospital Spoilers – Shocks, Support And Surprises

Friday, Spencer will get shocking news, likely related to the death of the Hook’s latest victim, although it could leak to him what happened to Esmé. Sonny will blast Nikolas, and that will likely be related to how he’s been treating Spencer. Carly, possibly still out of town will offer support to someone while Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) is surprised by an important call.

It sounds like Britt may be the victim of the Hook, as Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will take matters into her own hands. Whoever the Hook is, she best stay clear of Liesl lest she be skewered with her own hook or tortured in a cabin!
