‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Weekly Preview Video April 14-18: Risky Decisions, Witch Hunts, Shocking News, Explosive Secrets

General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, April 14 to Friday, April 18 tease risky decisions, witch hunts and shocking news!

Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) makes a risky decision, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is subjected to a modern-day witch hunt, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) delivers shocking news! (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Risky Decisions

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has been quite concerned with the experimental operation that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) offered Kai and paying for the whole thing.

Trina went to her mother Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and expressed her concerns, and Portia checked everything out-Trina trusts that her mother can give a good opinion as well.

After checking out the experimental procedure thoroughly,  Portia is in her office at GH as she says she cannot in good conscience recommend this surgery.

Then Trina is seen sitting having lunch with Kai and he’s bound and determined to play football again. He tells her he’s going to have the surgery, and Trina looks very worried!

Witch Hunt

The atmosphere in the courthouse is like the Salem Witch Hunts of the 1700s as Congressman Drew and Councilman Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) seem to have assembled a hearing.

It’s likely a press conference as well, as Boyle pontificates and Drew looks self-righteous and smug as usual. Boyle accuses Laura publicly, saying that her allegiance should be to the people of Port Charles and not the local crime boss!

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) are both there and they look upset, as does Port Charles Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Boyle is referring to Sonny, of course, and he and Drew want the Esplanade on Pier 55 where Corinthos Coffee is, and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is in on it too!

Shocking News

Elsewhere, Sonny is with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) when Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) shows up at the door.

Diane wheels around looking shocked when Sonny says to Marco, “Jenz Sidwell, he’s your dad, right?”

It’s understandable that Diane would be shocked by Sonny’s comment, because Sidwell is not to be trusted, and Diane knows Jenz put Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) life in danger in Somalia!

Diane and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) just hired Marco on at their law firm as a junior partner, feeling the need to expand their practice just a little bit with an extra lawyer.

Obviously, even though Diane and Alexis support Sonny and Diane frequently represents him if there are court issues, Sidwell is a whole another story-Sonny suspects he bombed his penthouse!
