General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of August 10 tease Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) confronts Jacinda Bracken, (Paige Herschell) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) runs interference. Plus, Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) verdict is in; innocent or guilty?

Michael’s Confrontation

At the Metro Court Pool, Michael confronts Jacinda, after she admits she drugged Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) iced latte when she delivered Nina’s dry cleaning and Willow was there.

General Hospital fans saw Jacinda get a small recloseable clear bag with three blue pills from Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) which she’d left at his place for several months.

These were the same pills that Nina and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) colluded with to pay Jacinda to drug jello shots that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) drank at the Brown Dog.

Michael is angry as he tells Jacinda, “You drugged the mother of my children!   And now Willow just had one of those pills and ran off with the kids, headed for the arcade high as a kite!

Nina Runs Interference

Now, in the aftermath, Nina runs interference, as Willow and she appear to be at the Metro Court Pool. Willow is clueless, as she asks her what happened?

It was a very dangerous situation that could have been fatal for Willow, Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Sienna Goerisch). 

Nina’s voice is heard, saying “Willow’s war with Michael is escalating,” and it’s quite likely she again goes to Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) for help.

Perhaps she wants more traffic cam footage culled from police records that show Willow on her impaired spree with the children? How far does she get; where are the kids, and are they okay?

Michael Is Stunned

Now Michael is shown at the door of the Quartermaine breakfast room as Willow tells him she’s there to take HER kids, not acknowledging Michael is even their father! 

Both parents are stern and Michael is stunned, apparently knowing what happened after Willow left Nina’s condo high as a kite with both kids, and purse left on the couch!

It’s clear he’s in disbelief of what he’s hearing, and not understanding how she can get away with this.

She couldn’t have pulled her congressional strings-that would only create a scandal and make things worse! Perhaps Nina returned in time to prevent Willow from hitting the road with the kids?

Trina And Kai Offer Help

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) are now in the Quartermaine’s breakfast room with Michael, apparently nearby when Willow showed up.

Trina tells Michael she and Kai can help him stop Willow from getting the kids-even if she can’t be convicted for shooting Drew again!

They can testify in a civil court about knowing Willow shot Drew twice in the back, but can a child custody court use it?

Or do they have some other evidence that can be used against the conniving congresswoman?

Curtis’ Verdict Is In!

In the meantime, at the Port Charles Courthouse, Curtis’ ongoing trial concludes, with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) gasping and shaking her head “no”.  

Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and Portia look serious and stern as a male voice proclaims “The jury’s back with a verdict”. As for Curtis, he looks pretty glum as he steels himself for the outcome.

The judge’s voice rings out, “We find the defendant—” By the look on Curtis’ face, and Jordan’s reaction, it doesn’t look like the verdict they wanted!
