‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Weekly Preview Video Jan 5-9: Stunning Decision, Courtroom Chaos, Explosive Outburst, Truth Exposed

General Hospital spoilers for the week of January 5 tease Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) makes a shocking statement, as at the courthouse, Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial reconvenes.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) makes a furious outburst in the courtroom, and later, the shooter is revealed to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Valentin’s Shocking Statement

In Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) attic, Valentin makes a shocking statement-she walks in as he’s packing up a bag on the floor. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

She asks him what’s going on, and he tells her it’s time for him to leave! Another scene from  the promo for Monday’s episode shows him at the attic door with a visitor who obviously isn’t Carly.

Might he be concerned that someone’s followed Charlotte Cassadine, (Bluesy Burke) who Carly brought to visit him on Christmas?

He’s shocked to see the unexpected visitor, who may be Charlotte, and exclaims, “What are you doing here”?

Willow’s Trial Reconvenes

At the Port Charles courtroom, the trial of Willow Cain reconvenes, and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is standing at the defendant’s table as Willow sits beside her looking worried.

Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) are shown sitting behind Alexis a couple of benches back. Drew, who’s sitting directly behind his wife, appears furious as he appears to be about to rise.

The judge says “all rise” as they all get up and an evidence photo of Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle)  gun is shown. “Have you ever touched this weapon?”

Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor)  asks as Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is now on the stand being questioned.

Drew’s Courtroom Outburst

Suddenly, Drew, furious, points the finger and says “You are going to rot in prison!” as a montage of witnesses are shown.  

A worried Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is on the stand, who has to testify. The scene quickly flashes to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove), Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), and Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell)!

Willow reacts like she’s going to cry-as Trina and Kai look worried during Drew’s outburst;  IS DREW SHOUTING AT HER? He appears to be on the stand as he shouts and beats his fist on the podium!

The Shooter Is Revealed!

Now Alexis is at home and someone’s knocking on her door-this may happen after the trial recesses for the day, to pick up again the next day.

Trina’s voice is heard, and Kai is undoubtedly with her, as she tells Alexis “we know who shot Drew”!

General Hospital spoilers imply in a season preview interview with the head writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten what will happen. “Viewers can anticipate shocking, and unforeseen repercussions stemming from Trina and Kai’s revelation, as the writers stated that “the actions they take with this knowledge will astonish the audience.”

Furthermore, they pointed out that it’s not solely about Willow: “Regardless of the verdict, Alexis and Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante)  could end up on the losing side.”
