General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, March 31-Friday, April 4 tease celebrations and catastrophes!
As Port Charles and the hospital are gearing up for the show’s 62nd anniversary, tragedy involving the hospital’s head nurse and a prominent attorney lends a tragic tone to the excitement.
Celebrations!
It’s General Hospital’s 62nd anniversary week, and on Tuesday, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is shown in the hospital looking up at a photo of her father, Edward Quartermaine (John Ingles).
She’s walking past the memorial wall where now there are photos of important past donors as well as those doctors and nurses who have passed. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)
To the right of Edward’s photo is Dr. Steve Hardy’s (John Beradino), and photos of others, such as Rick Webber (Chris Robinson) and Tony Jones (Brad Maule) are shown.
The opening of the new Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) Cardiac Wing is being celebrated, and Tuesday’s episode serves as both the anniversary of the show and honoring Monica.

As most viewers should already know, Leslie Charleson passed away recently and this episode was filmed before that-word is, she wasn’t able to be on set.
Excited Port Charles Citizens As News Of Tragedy Spreads And Lends A Somber Tone
In front of the nurses’ station, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Brielle Spears) are shown walking with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).
Carly says “It’s General Hospital’s anniversary” and Felicia says “And I have a feeling it’s just getting started!” Their voices continue over flashes of a worried Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton) and then Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Alexis is at the hospital, and Jason and Anna also appear to be at the hospital at the time, likely when Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is brought in.
Then, a smiling Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is shown; the scene with Sonny likely is on Wednesday, when he and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) have a meal together.
Kristina Shocked To Find Out She Sabotaged The Wrong Car!
Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) voice is heard saying “I don’t understand, I mean..it was supposed to be Ava (Jerome, played by Maura West)!”
Ric is shown strapped to a gurney, having been extricated from the car on which Kristina had previously cut the brake lines! Kristina is at the crash scene, realizing it wasn’t Ava’s car which she sabotaged.
Previously, Ric had parked in Ava’s spot in the parking garage to her apartment building, having gone for a visit with Kristina interrupted them.
She and Ava had a fierce argument, which he heard from another room where he had gone when Kristina arrived, and heard Kristina threaten Ava.
Castastrophes!
Lucky Spencer, (Jonathan Jackson) who had followed Kristina out of Charlie’s Pub in Friday’s episode after she told him she made a mistake and took off, rushes to the crash scene.
He realizes that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was in the crashed car with Ric, and he may hear Kristina’s talking to herself at the scene as well.
He shouts, ELIZABETH! as paramedics and police shout HEY, HEY! and the daily preview for Monday showed them holding him back, telling him they were doing everything they could for her. The preview doesn’t show whether Elizabeth is okay or not, and Lucky is absolutely frantic to get to her!

Molly Gets Devastating News!
At the hospital, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kirsten Vaganos) is shown with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) behind her.
She asks Lucas, “How’s my dad” and he tells her, “Why don’t we go sit down”. It doesn’t look good-Ric was shown on the gurney with spinal injury precautions taken, his head and neck in a supportive device to stabilize his neck.
It’s possible he may be in a coma or worse by the tone Lucas is taking with Molly! And just when Molly and Kristina had finally made peace with each other—it doesn’t sound good for their truce when Molly finds out Kristina cut the brake lines on his car!

Kristina is nuts! She needs big time therapy!! What she did is horrible. No matter who it was meant for. And Ava did not push her out of the window. She needs to get that straight in her head.
Yeah, what she did was wrong, but she’s blinded by grief, and the fact that no one seems to care that Ava is, once again, getting away with murder. She honestly BELIEVES Ava pushed her. As far as she knows, she does have it have straight in her head.
Kristina is a broken woman right now. Mentally, emotionally and physically. With the misplaced anger and grief she is carrying around she can’t make intelligent rational decussions. She doesn’t belong in prison, she belongs in Ferncliff. Someone she trusts and listens to should have pushed her into getting counciling after losing the baby.
Kristina is a nut case. Sonny or Alexis should have made her go into therapy. Ava did not push her. Kristina has started both these encounters, and now she should pay the price.
Sam took her to talk to Kevin. Kristina didn’t continue then Sam was killed. Alexis and Sonny enable her. Kristina must face the consequences of her actions. She’s not grieving. She’s raging.
The have shown the scene again and again where Kristina remembers tripping over Cate’s luggage. If she tells the truth, she can’t play her favorite victim role. Kristina is a spoiled self-absorbed brat that drags trouble and misery wherever she goes.
