General Hospital spoilers reveals Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been living in seclusion in the north tower of Wyndemere for long enough now that one would think she’d grow accustomed to the accommodations, but the longer this pregnancy progresses, the more she worries about what comes next.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) seems to have an immense amount of faith and trust in Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) that Esme just doesn’t have.
Esme doesn’t trust that Nikolas is going to take care of her after she has the baby, though he may make sure she’s “taken care of.” Every time Elizabeth checks in on Esme, it’s an opportunity for her to sway the good nurse into coming over to her side. Esme just might strike gold soon and say the right thing that pulls at Liz’s heart strings.
General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Price’s Attempts to Appeal To Liz Webber Fall Flat
Esme has pleaded with Elizabeth to help her flee Wyndemere. When she asked Elizabeth whether she really believes Nikolas is going to fly Esme to an island and make sure she’s taken care of and living in luxury for the rest of her life, Esme could tell by the look on her face that Elizabeth wasn’t as confident as she claimed to be. Still, she’s not trying to get personally involved with this girl or give her any insight into what she does or does not think or care about. Every stab Esme takes at appealing to Elizabeth as a mother or nurse has failed her, but she’s about to strike Elizabeth in a way she didn’t even know would matter to her.
GH Spoilers – Suggest Esme Price Claims Nikolas Cassadine Raped Her
Back in 1998, Tom Baker (Don Harvey) raped Elizabeth. Esme has no knowledge about Elizabeth’s past, but she’s about to get some insight into it as Elizabeth reacts to Esme’s claim that she didn’t ask for this.
When Elizabeth scoffs and tells her she should’ve paid more attention in health class and that it only takes one time, Esme will abruptly announce that Nikolas forced himself on her. Elizabeth is going to be shaken by this claim. At first, she wants to write it off as the ramblings of a desperate young woman who knows she’s run out of chances. However, it’s going to wear on Elizabeth long after she leaves Esme, and the seed of doubt Esme planted could sprout.
General Hospital Spoilers — Liz Webber Doesn’t Know Who To Believe Anymore
The more Nikolas struggles to answer Elizabeth’s questions about what will happen to Esme and the baby after he or she is born, the more she’s going to worry about what she’s gotten herself into. In reflecting upon why she chose to help Nikolas, she will realize he pressured her by making her fear that Esme would point the finger of blame in her direction, when she has no one else to care for her three sons and can’t risk going to jail.
Was Nikolas using Elizabeth all along? Did he really force himself on Esme? Does it make Elizabeth helping him any less wrong if he didn’t? Stay tuned for more details as we continue to dish out GH news and spoilers every day.
