General Hospital Spoilers: Who Attacked Ava? Did Nikolas Try To Kill His Wife?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that there is a new mystery in Port Charles. Someone attacked Ava Jerome (Maura West) with a fish hook and left her for dead. Now Ava has made a lot of enemies in her life so there is no shortage of suspects. But one person, in particular, was extremely upset with Ava right before someone picked up that fish hook. And that person is her husband Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). And Nikolas’ behavior after Ava’s attack is even fishier.

General Hospital Spoilers – What did Ava Jerome do?

Right before Ava went off by herself, she and Nikolas got into a terrible argument. General Hospital spoilers say Ava blurted out that Nikolas had slept with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) right as Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) walked up. Esme was Spencer’s girlfriend and Spencer was horrified that his own father slept with his girlfriend. Nikolas tried to blame Ava to Spencer, even claiming that she may have made the whole thing up. But Spencer wasn’t buying it and that more than likely signaled the end of any type of relationship between Nikolas and Spencer.

GH Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine made an alibi for himself.

After the attack, when Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) questioned Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) about her whereabouts when Ava was attacked, Nikolas stepped forward and claimed. Elizabeth was with him at the time. Not only did he provide Elizabeth with an alibi but he gave himself one as well. But even though Elizabeth and Nikolas did encounter each other that night, it wasn’t necessarily during the exact time Ava was gutted.

General Hospital Spoilers – Who attacked Ava Jerome?

While Nikolas is certainly looking extremely suspicious, he isn’t the only suspect. Elizabeth lost time and can’t remember exactly where she was when Ava was attacked. Spencer also had a very large axe, or in this case, hook, to grind with Ava as well. Esme is still missing and at large as well. And there are other people who may have motives as well. But this was a very personal and violent attack, and her husband may just be the guilty party.
