General Hospital Spoilers: Who Is Lois? Learn About Brook Lynn’s Mom

General Hospital: Lois CerulloGeneral Hospital spoilers and updates tease that viewers want to know who Lois Cerullo (most recently Rena Sofer) is. There have been recent mentions on the show about Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) mom so here is more about Lois.

General Hospital Spoilers – L & B Records

Lois was the co-owner of L & B Records, the record label that Eddie Maine aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and his band “The Idle Rich” recorded for. The B stood for Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) and Lois and her family, the Cerullos, lived in Bensonhurst where Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Lois were best friends. At the time, Ned led his secret musical life behind his Quartermaine family’s judgmental backs, who wanted him married to the “more appropriate” Katherine Bell (Mary Beth Evans).

Katherine has also been mentioned recently on the show, having been Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) and Dominque Baldwin’s (Shell Danielson) half-sister. While in Port Charles, Ned romanced Katherine, in Bensonhurst he romanced Lois, who was also his manager, as rocker Eddie Maine.

GH Spoilers – The Wedding Cake Surprise

Ned’s heart was with Lois in Bensonhurst and his music as Eddie Maine, but the pressure was on at home in Port Charles to get him married to Katherine. The Quartermaines, even his mother Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) were blind to the fact that Katherine was a schemer after the family fortune and pushed Ned into an unwise marriage to her.

But soon his two very different lives began to intersect, and the feisty Lois wasn’t going to lose her man. She found out about the rock star Eddie Maine being the wealthy Ned Quartermaine, and she made sure everyone knew Eddie was her man. She decided to give Ned and Katherine a wedding surprise – and popped out of their wedding cake and exposed Ned’s secret life, to his shock!

General Hospital Spoilers – Like Mother, Like Daughter

More recently, Brook Lynn has mentioned that her mom Lois was managing her career until she got hooked up with the smarmy and unethical Linc Brown (Dan Buran). L & B records went out of business long ago but apparently Lois has kept a music-related career in Bensonhurst. Brook Lynn may be described as being the most like her grandmother, but it’s plain to see she’s got a lot of her mom in her too.

Recent storylines have Brook Lynn turning to managing Harrison Chase, (Josh Swickard) just like her mom managed her dad back in the day. Might Lois return to Port Charles to help her daughter take down Linc – one never knows.
