He has two sons that have been in Port Charles for years. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is a dedicated police officer at the Port Charles Police Department. Gregory and Chase have a close father and son relationship. Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is a respected doctor at General Hospital. Gregory and Finn were estranged for years but have now started to get close again.

Finn has a daughter Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) who has started to get to know her grandfather. Gregory’s wife Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) is a reporter who is working at the Invader for Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Gregory is trying to reconnect with Jackie. They are separated. He had hoped that he would be able to win Jackie back. However he has just learned that Jackie and Finn had a relationship. He also learned that Finn may be Chase’s father.
