General Hospital Spoilers: Who Sent The Gun To The Cops, What We Know!

General Hospital spoilers tease that the Port Charles police force haven’t been fully able to investigate the murder of FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) even though they made an arrest.

The copy believed that they had enough evidence to convict Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) of the murder so that’s exactly what they did. But as viewers know, Alexis isn’t guilty at all. In fact, the true killer is Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).

General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Is The Prime Suspect Of Murdering John Cates!

Of course, Sonny knows that Alexis didn’t kill Cates. Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is the one who stole a gun from Sonny’s penthouse. Then she drove to the Quartermaines with the intent to kill Cates but changed her mind. She eventually came home.

But the gun was still in her purse when Alexis found it. Not wanting Kristina to get in any trouble, Alexis tossed the gun into the river but was witnessed by Ric Lansing (RIck Hearst) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).

Since Kristina drove Alexis’ car to the Quartermaine’s, that was enough evidence for the cops to arrest her.

GH Spoilers – The Gun Is Missing!

Despite Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and the police’s best efforts, no one has been able to locate the gun, at least not until now. Someone sent a mysterious package to the police station, and it was believed to be a bomb for a moment.

But after it was cleared, it was revealed to be what looks like the missing gun. But that brings up a lot of questions. Is this actually the gun Alexis tossed into the river. And who found it?

General Hospital Spoilers – Michael Corinthos Or Jack Brennan Have Motive!

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) knows that Kristina is about to crack and tell the cops it was her who had the gun and drove to the Quartermaines in order to get her mother out of trouble. So, it’s possible that he sent a duplicate gun to the cops in order to free Alexis without implicating Kristina any further.

It’s also possible that Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) found the gun himself and sent it to the cops himself so that Sonny wouldn’t confess, which would also incriminate Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) since she lied about being with Sonny at the time of the murder. Or perhaps it’s someone else entirely.
