General Hospital Spoilers: Why Is Jason Morgan Being Constantly Forced To Help Franco?

Ever since his return to Port Charles, General Hospital’s Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been helping Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) more often than not. Why are Jason fans constantly having to live with Jason helping the man who sexually assaulted his wife?

General Hospital Spoilers – Franco Baldwin Sexually Assaulted Sam Morgan

General Hospital’s Franco sexually assaulted Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) on her honeymoon years ago. Sam nor Jason fans have forgotten this. Franco was written to be a short-term character who Jason killed in 2012. The decision to bring Franco back and give him a brain tumor does not change what he did to Sam. It also doesn’t make diehard Sam fans forgive or forget what Franco has done. Jason’s initial reaction to Franco, attacking him at the hospital, is what Jason fans would expect. So why after two years are Jason fans still being expected to forgive Franco?

GH Spoilers – Franco Baldwin Is Not Drew Cain

General Hospital’s Franco might have Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) memories but he is not Drew. Jason was Drew’s brother and Drew took over his life. Jason doesn’t owe anything to Franco or Drew for that matter. Drew was nothing but hostile to Jason from the time he returned home. Drew tried to make light of Jason and Sam’s relationship.

Drew accused Jason of hurting Sam time and again. Drew did not respect his brother’s relationship with Sam at all. So why is Jason bending over backward to help Franco to return to Liz Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and her kids? Why is Jason’s son Jake Spencer (Hudson West) so dependent on the man Jason hates? Why is Jason expected to forgive and forget what Franco has done?

General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan Has Done Enough

General Hospital’s Jason has done enough when it comes to Franco. Jason saved Franco during the Port Charles earthquake. Jason should have never been forced to help Franco in any shape or form. Sam should have never had to save Franco either. Franco has been back for six years. Why are we still being forced to accept Franco in Sam and Jason’s lives? When is this going to end and Jason be rid of Franco as a constant presence in both his and Sam’s lives?

After six years of the Franco redemption crusade, why can some fans and GH writers not accept the fact that Franco will never be accepted by all? When will it be understood that some fans want Franco out of Sam and Jason’s lives? Will this redemption plan ever end?

      Franco never raped Sam. He did make her think that he had for a while which is not good but the bottom line is that Franco did not really hurt Sam. Franco had a brain tumor which impaired his judgement which is why he did all the bad things he did. Franco has hardly hurt anyone since the brain tumor was removed. Franco is not Drew. However Jason was hardly close to Drew at all even though they were twins. Franco and Drew were close like true brothers. They bonded over what happened with them when they were children when Jim Harvey sexually abused Franco who protected Drew from Jim Harvey. Drew even saved Franco by killing Jim Harvey when he was trying to ki!l Franco. Jason would not even care about Franco if Franco did not have Drew’s memories and he wanted information on Peter because of this ridiculous memory mapping mess. Franco helped Jake during the whole Chimera mess. Jake, Aiden, Cameron, and Liz want Franco back. Drew even married Liz and Franco. Franco is now an art therapist while Jason is still a hitman. Franco needs to be restored.. Jason needs to focus on Sam and the ones he cares about. Then this whole memory mapping mess needs to get over for good.

      If Luke Spencer can be redeemed so can Franco, Franco who had a brain tumor. If Sam Morgan gets a pass on all her misdeeds so can Franco. Jason Morgan is a hit man and people look the other way. Franco has gone above & beyond to make up for all he did when he had a brain tumor. Honestly tired of boring Sam & Jason with their same boring whispering stories. Give us more Franco & Liz.
