General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Robinson Considering a Move to Port Charles – A New Affair with Curtis Ashford Next?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) might be looking into a new position at GH. If she accepts, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) may end up having her mom a lot closer than she’s used to. Additionally, Portia’s arrival in Port Charles could spell trouble for Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). With these developments, a lot of GH fans are asking themselves right now if Portia might secretly want Curtis back in her life.

That might sound crazy considering the fact that Curtis is happily (okay, at this point “happily” might be too strong a word) married to Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). Additionally, with the way Portia’s affair with Curtis ended, it doesn’t seem too likely that even if he were single, that he’d be willing to give her a second chance.

GH fans who feel the above is true may need to hold their horses, however. A huge question right now is whether Curtis and Jordan will even stay together in the near future. Although it’s obvious that Curtis and Jordan love each other, honesty and transparency are huge issues for Curtis. He’s gone out of his way to show Jordan that he can be trusted. He told her all about the meeting he had with Portia. He let her know everything they talked about, including his fears that Trina might be his daughter and his relief when he was told she wasn’t.

General Hospital Spoilers – On the other hand, Jordan Ashford hasn’t done the same.

In fact, Jordan’s fallen over backward to keep the truth about TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellows) from Curtis! Now, that might be because she’s afraid that Curtis could go “rogue” and try to take on the entirety of criminal mastermind, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) all by himself. (If he did, it’s very likely he’d get himself killed in the process.) It could also be due to the fact that Jordan’s allowed the drug kingpin to blackmail her, and now she’s caught in a web of lies. Maybe Jordan is afraid if Curtis discovers the truth, he’ll stop loving her. Who knows?

 GH Spoilers – What Are Jordan Ashford’s Motives

Regardless of Jordan’s motives for keeping the truth from Curtis, once the cat is out of the bag, he’s likely to be furious. In such a situation, who knows what direction Curtis and Jordan’s marriage might take? Some couples in such a situation wouldn’t be able to survive. Divorce would be sure to come calling. Whether Curtis and Jordan’s relationship is strong enough to handle the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune remains to be seen.

GH fans might agree though, that if Curtis’s marriage hits rock bottom, he may seek out comfort elsewhere. Knowing that a former lover like Portia is in Port Charles might be a temptation too great to overcome in that given circumstance. With the way GH viewers have seen Curtis and Portia look at one another when put in close proximity to one another, it’s a sure bet that the attraction the two have for one another is still very much alive.

General Hospital Spoilers – Whether Curtis Ashford and Portia  Robinson hook-up or not remains to be seen.

Many GH fans might actually be disappointed if that happens since she is proving to be a somewhat unpopular GH character. That could change though if she gets her head on straight, focuses on repairing her own relationship with Trina, and shows viewers that she can actually be a good mom (and an honorable woman).
