According to Deadline, Wil Traval will play a character named Jude, and his debut is slated for some time in October.

While the ABC soap is remaining hush-hush for now, with no indication of who Jude will be sharing scenes with, the storyline he’ll be entering, or really anything about the character, fans can still speculate.

After all, Wil is from Australia, so will Jude also be an Aussie, too?

If so, he could be connected to anyone from Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) or the ongoing arc surrounding Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) JJE company mystery.

After all, Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel), who’s been helping Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) transition into JJE’s CEO role, has been talking to someone unknown. Plus, JJE is located in Australia.

It’s important to note that General Hospital fall spoilers do reveal that someone will come along to claim Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) … so will that “someone” be Jude?

Then again, could Jude be related to Robert Scorpio, who was played by the late legendary Tristan Rogers?

ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) just mentioned Robert’s name this past week as Port Charles’ district attorney is officially (or unofficially) leaving his post.

Wil Traval’s Resume

The actor first debuted on Australian TV in 2003; however, Traval might be best known for his role as Will Simpson in Netflix’s Jessica Jones.

He’s also made appearances in several prime-time shows from CSI to Dexter, Once Upon a Time, Red Widow, Arrow, and Chicago P.D. – just to name a few.

Traval’s Jude character is the latest of a slew of new faces who have been introduced to storylines in recent months, which include Tristan and Hudson, as well as more recently William Baines (Alimi Ballard), and Dr. Nichols (Kearran Giovanni).

In addition, just this week it was announced that actress Blythe Howard will be making her debut as lawyer Monet during the week of September 21.
