After Chase stole Michael’s unattended keys and tried them on Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) door, he realized one of them indeed allowed access to Drew’s place.
Since Chase doesn’t know Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) set Michael up, he’s even more convinced of Michael’s guilt. As a result, Chase gave Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) a nudge to take a closer look at this key situation and try to prove Michael had a copy.
Nathan showed up with a search warrant and obtained the keychain from Michael soon after. Michael’s legal struggles are far from over, but GH writers surely have a plan when it comes to what Wiley witnessed.
There has to be a reason why Wiley stood there looking puzzled while Chase put Michael’s keys on the floor following his investigation. Wiley’s going to tell someone about what he saw sooner or later, so what if it’s Brook Lynn who gets updates?
Brook Lynn recently pitched in when Michael told Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) that they could see their mother again soon.
It feels like the show’s been having Brook Lynn connect with Wiley a bit more – perhaps in anticipation of the shocking news he might confide in her.

Wiley could easily do some eavesdropping and learn Michael’s in a bind because of what was on his keychain. Perhaps Wiley will tell Brook Lynn that Chase had Michael’s keys and was putting them on the floor.
Wiley may ask why Chase would do that and wonder if Chase was trying to get his dad in trouble. After all, Wiley has probably picked up on all the tension between Chase and Michael around the Quartermaine mansion.
Once Michael inevitably starts ranting that he was framed, Brook Lynn may get this Chase info from Wiley and worry her own husband is responsible.
This could build to a massive argument between Chase and Brook Lynn, so she may demand to know if he set Michael up. Chase may have to admit to stealing and testing out the keys, but he may swear to Brook Lynn that he didn’t plant anything.
That could leave Brook Lynn speculating that Willow framed Michael instead, but you can bet Chase will try to shut down any conclusion like that.

Regardless, Brook Lynn may fume over Chase’s obsession with Michael’s arrest and his belief in the innocent act that Willow’s still putting on.
