General Hospital Spoilers: Will Austin Bring Ava Home After Mason Goes Rogue With Nik?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Ava Jerome (Maura West) is missing in action, and soon, someone will notice that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) appears to have gone missing right along with her. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) is the only person in cahoots with both of them, so it makes sense that he may see Ava’s sudden absence as more than just her taking off for a while. Of course, the family will ask the obvious questions, like what about Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola)?

Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) was the last person to see her off the island and Ava certainly didn’t mention plans for a departure. Is this the point at which Austin will have to go to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to finish Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) bidding, or has Cyrus been cut out of the deal entirely by someone who hates Ava far more?

Many fans were left questioning what was up with Mason after his recent visit to Pentonville where he checked in with Cyrus.

The boss man didn’t seem to have much patience for the lollipop-toting errand boy who had no good answers for him. Mason fell for Ava’s story — hook, line, and sinker — but Cyrus wasn’t buying the idea that Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) was the traitor in this situation.

Still, Mason didn’t seem to care. It’s as though he had done his part and was rather done altogether with helping Cyrus. Was that because he was already moving on to a new boss man?

It won’t take too long for people to notice Ava has gone missing. Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are sure to question why she’s been unreachable, and the don already knows she’s been in trouble as of late with the Gatlin’s.

He could take her going missing as a direct threat against his family. Moreover, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been keeping Avery at her place and is expecting Ava to return and pick her up soon.

Just how long is Ava going to be gone, and is Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) merely toying with her, or is he intending to make sure she never goes home again?

General Hospital Spoilers — Cyrus Renault Pulls Austin Gatlin Holt  Back Into The Fold

With Mason going rogue working for Nikolas, and Ava missing when she’s the only chess piece Cyrus really had in the mix, he’s going to need someone else on the outside to help him out.

That’s where Austin would normally come into play, but he recently went by the prison to check on Cyrus’ ticker post-heart attack and let him know he’s done working for him. Is it that simple?
