General Hospital Spoilers: Will Brad Cooper Help Free Nelle In Exchange For Her Wiley Silence?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will attend Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) parole hearing; but will he speak for or against her parole?

General Hospital Spoilers – Brad Cooper Does Not Want The Baby Swap Secret To Come Out

Brad does not want the baby swap secret to come out, and if he gets on Nelle’s bad side, Nelle could rat him out. However, Nelle doesn’t want Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) or any of his family to raise Jonah Corinthos aka Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theodore Olson) either. But Nelle on the outside could present a problem; she will want to be involved in Jonah’s life, and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) is Michael’s uncle, and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) brother! The only way she could have time with her baby is if she and Brad met on the sneak! After spending time in Pentonville Prison, Nelle may want more than that!

GH Spoilers – Brad Cooper May Not Be There To Speak Either Way

On the other hand, Brad may not attend to speak either way, for or against her parole. In most cases parole boards do not have to call witnesses or victims to the parole hearing to advocate for or against a particular prisoner’s parole; they can write letters ahead of the hearing. Brad may just be there to pick up Nelle in case she is paroled and needs a ride, although there should be a halfway house system in place where she would be until deemed fit to re-enter society and be able to work and live on her own. He may also be there because he wants to see what happens!

General Hospital Spoilers – If There Are Witnesses To Speak For The Parole, They May Have Been Subpoenaed

Brad may have been subpoenaed by Nelle’s attorney, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) as a “friendly witness” who could testify for Nelle to be paroled. This would likely be because Nelle herself gave him a list of people who she thought would be for her release. If he were subpoenaed, that would take the heat off of him in regards to Nelle’s parole and why he would be at the hearing because he would have no choice but to appear. She will have more against her release than for her release, so Martin Grey will really have to be a miracle worker in order to get her sprung!

Undoubtedly Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) if she’s able, will be there to protest Nelle’s parole, and possibly Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as well! It’s even possible her ex-fiance’s sister from Florida could travel to the parole hearing to protest her parole!

Nelle could suggest Ava Jerome (Maura West) as well, but it’s doubtful she would be chosen since she is too messed up recently to be able to root for Nelle’s parole. However, if Nelle is paroled, Brad will again be popping antacids like popcorn, because he will fear her wanting Jonah back and spilling the baby swap beans!
