General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) will be found sooner or later. Whether or not he actually returns to Port Charles, at least at first, is still unclear. Spoilers indicate that although Sonny won’t die from his encounter with Julian Jerome (William Devry) at the footbridge, he won’t exactly be himself.

For the time being, Sonny will apparently have no memory of who he is. Of course, that also means that he won’t remember his wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), or his best friend and enforcer, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) either. He likely will have no idea where his home is, or even if he has people who are looking for him. Of course, it will only be a matter of time before Sonny eventually comes back home. But could one of his past loves use his memory loss to make a play for him?

GH Spoilers – Brenda Barrett Will Always Love Sonny!

Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) and Sonny have always had a connection, even though their romance didn’t end up working out for various reasons. But what if Brenda ends up spotting Sonny? She may be puzzled at first when he doesn’t know who she is, but it’s likely that even though she hasn’t made Port Charles her home in a long time, that she keeps up with all things Corinthos.

Perhaps Brenda has regrets about not making it work with Sonny. If that’s the case, she may decide to try to manipulate the situation. She could get to Sonny before anyone else does and tell him just enough about their past without bringing up that they are no longer together. Brenda isn’t a bad person but she isn’t above playing dirty to get what she wants. And if she does decide that she and Sonny are meant together, then she will likely do whatever it takes to make it happen. But will Sonny fall for Brenda once again? Without any knowledge of Carly, it’s very possible. And then once his memory finally returns, the stage will be set for a love triangle once again between Sonny, Carly, and Brenda.
