General Hospital Spoilers: Will Carly Broker Brotherhood Between Sidwell And Valentin?

General Hospital spoilers reveal previews show Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) grinning slyly across the table from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) on Monday’s episode. This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship, or something truly disastrous. Now that Sidwell knows Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is lurking not just around Port Charles, but around his home on Spoon Island, Carly might be the missing link that lets him know why Valentin came snooping around.

Of course, that’s a big problem if he’s not keen on keeping her secret and instead weaponizes it against her as the ex-wife of and mother to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Will Carly be so careless as to let on that she’s in contact with Valentin — and turning on Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)?

General Hospital Spoilers — She’ll Need a Cover Story

Don’t forget that Carly has been ticked that her brother, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), is even dating Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) because she believes he’s up to no good and in cahoots with his father.

So, it’ll be a hard sell for Carly to convince Sidwell she suddenly doesn’t have any problem with him. That being said, she’s a ruthless businesswoman, and Sidwell seems to appreciate that in anyone he deals with.

They don’t have to like each other if they both have an agenda in working together that is fortuitous for them both.

GH Spoilers Say

While it might help Carly’s relationship with Lucas for her to suddenly “see the light” where Sidwell is concerned, she’s not likely to want to lie to her brother.

At the same time, she may also not be able to trust him with the truth that she and Sidwell are working together against a common enemy.

That’ll only work if she is fully transparent with Sidwell that her feelings toward him have not changed. But will that be good enough for Lucas, or might it paint her as a hypocrite for being okay with working with Sidwell when it suits her but not okay with Lucas dating Marco?

Moreover, what are Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) bound to think if Carly chooses to entertain her ex’s latest and greatest enemy?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Enemy of Thy Enemy is Thy Friend

Sonny has been thinking Ava Jerome (Maura West) might be the key to him getting intel on Sidwell and bringing the guy to ruin, but it looks like Carly might develop her own close proximity to the guy — and soon.

If she can convince him not to blow the whistle on Valentin, she may have to negotiate something for his silence — and Sidwell always comes to collect.

On the other hand, Sidwell could find favor in working with Valentin if it means diverting attention from the WSB to anywhere else but his island manor where he’s housing Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) as a hostage and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) as an asset.
