General Hospital spoilers reveal that Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) would love to return to his role on the ABC sudser and that the fans would love to have him back. What’s the holdup?

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Did Dominic Zamprogna Leave The Hit ABC Soap?
When asked about his possible return, Dominic said that he’s felt drawn to a return for some time now. “You only ever want to leave because of your situation, and personally, I was going through some things … I’ve never had a job for as long as I had GH, and I went through a whole gamut of feelings. There are highs and lows and in-betweens.”
He added that as a result he just wasn’t, “feeling confident in my abilities anymore. I started stressing out a lot and I was like, ‘Why am I stressing out?’ I thought I should take it as the time to leave.”
GH Spoilers – When Will Dominic Zamprogna Return To The Hit ABC Soap?
Dominic added that he also wanted to spend more time with his family as well as spread his wings professionally when he left GH.
“The more you create the more fun your job is. GH has also been super fun. I have always had great times up on stage there. But, I had never played a character that for that long. I was like, ‘Maybe what I need is just to walk away from this character for a bit and try other roles.’”
Dominic was asked when he realized that he wanted to return and he said part of it had to do with missing his costars. In particular, he gave a shout out to Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) and Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri) who play his on-screen parents.
He said that he’s been following the storyline between Sonny and his dad Mike Corbin (Max Gail) and proclaimed that Gail’s performance as an Alzheimer’s sufferer has been, “great.”

I think that it would be easy for Dante to come home. I am sure that it would help Sonny to have Dante come back. He could help Sonny with the loss of Mike and with his Cyrus problem. Olivia would be overjoyed to have Dante home again. It would be interesting to see what would happen with Dante, Dustin, Lulu, and Brook Lynn too.
Dante needs to rescue Lulu. He was the only one she halfway listened to.
I think he left GH and a good paycheck thinking he would be in great demand elsewhere but actually found out no one was beating down his door with offers so now wants to come home…that said, I liked D.Z as Dante so I’d like to see his return.
