We know that Delilah passed away and Phoebe is motherless, but she still has to have a father out there.
And once he figures out where the baby girl is, he has every legal right to come collect her. No matter how many cute outfits Brook Lynn has bought her.
Delilah’s Baby-Daddy Revealed
General Hospital just revealed to viewers that the person Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) was supposed to meet in Port Charles was Delilah, the mystery woman who passed away after giving birth to Phoebe.
All clues are hinting that Delilah was carrying Ethan’s baby. But, there’s also the possibility that he was close to the baby’s father and promised to look after them.
Even if Ethan Lovett isn’t Phoebe’s father, he knows Delilah and more than likely knows her baby-daddy.

That means Ethan is the one person in the world who can reunite Delilah’s daughter with her father.
Or he could make sure that she’s safe in Port Charles and her real father is never able to find her.
Tracy Might Sway His Decision
Ethan Lovett doesn’t have many friends in Port Charles, but he is close to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott).
Coincidentally, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is raising Phoebe at the Quartermaine mansion and is Tracy’s granddaughter.

The fact that Phoebe is with the closest thing Ethan has to family in PC, might sway his decision to give up his rights to the baby girl if he is her father.
Brook Lynn is desperate to have a baby, and there’s no doubt that Delilah’s daughter is in good hands.
If Ethan isn’t the father, he could deduce that the baby is better off where she is at than with the real father.
No matter how it plays out, baby Phoebe’s fate is in Ethan’s hands. Do you think that he will let Brook Lynn Quartermaine keep Delilah’s baby?
