ABC Disney had launched a wide scale Covid-19 vaccine mandate for their entire staff. As was his right, Ingo applied for a religious exemption to the mandate. In return, ABC Disney denied Ingo‘s request, and his job was history. In November 2022, ABC Disney ceased their vaccine mandate.

At that time, fans wondered if it would mean Ingo could return to work, but he was embroiled in litigation against the company, having filed a lawsuit against them in December 2021 alleging they discriminated against his religious beliefs. Did they? The case never proceeded far enough for us to find out. With all allegations now being dismissed, fans are wondering: what will Ingo do?

Many fans have treated this as an opportunity for Ingo to come back to the screen if his case was dropped. Ingo may now serve as a symbol of patriotism to some of his fans, but that’s not going to pay the bills or revive his acting career. Which begs the question: is this the end of the line for him?
