GH Spoilers: Jason Morgan Has Been A Hit Man For The Better Part Of Twenty Years
Jason, now in his late forties, has been Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) hit man for the better part of twenty years, and has only been a father biologically for around twelve years, with the birth of Jake Webber (Hudson West) whose mother is Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). His other son, Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is seven.
With Sam’s incarceration for a period of two years, although of course Attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will continue to work on parole and appeals. He was very good with telling Danny in a recent General Hospital episode that his mom is in prison and could be gone for two years, even though Danny chose to stay at the Quartermaine’s along with his half-sister Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri).
General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan Practically Raised Michael Corinthos
Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that Jason Morgan practically raised his nephew, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Michael’s mother, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) faced some challenges as a new, first time mother and went into a deep post-partum depression when Michael was born, so Jason just kind of took over for her for a while with the care of baby Michael.

This was during the time period when Jason was actively Sonny’s enforcer, and continued to care for Michael frequently, and sometimes his younger brother Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) as well, with no ill effects on either boy. Jason has continued to be protective of Michael even to the point of getting himself put in prison to protect him during a time when Michael had been convicted of a crime!
GH Spoilers: Jason Morgan Works In Sonny Corinthos’ Warehouse More Than As His Enforcer Now
Jason works in Sonny’s warehouse for his coffee importing business much more than he does any kind of mob enforcer work in recent years, since Sonny has not had to tangle with the mob in over five years now. There are no rival mobs trying to take Sonny’s territory and Sonny’s just importing coffee for his Corinthos Coffee business instead of using it as a cover for gun smuggling or other illegal business.
Jason is no longer involved in the dangerous life of a hit man although he takes care of issues if they do come up, and is well able to do so. Taking care of Danny and Scout will need to be more of a priority than it was in previous years, but he has good examples and plenty of support in Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) as well as Sonny and Carly. Jason should have no problems adapting to the role of a temporarily single father while Sam is away in Pentonville!
