General Hospital Spoilers: Will Jordan Break Down and Partner With Sonny to Get TJ Back?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that drug kingpin and mastermind, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has something to do with the kidnapping of police commissioner, Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) son, TJ (Tajh Bellows). Recent episodes saw Jordan screaming at Cyrus while visiting him at Pentonville prison after he goaded her into looking at her cellphone. On the screen was a beaten TJ at an undisclosed location.

GH viewers know that up until now, Jordan has insisted on sticking to certain principles that she feels elevate her above the lack of morals displayed by Cyrus. However, now that her son is at stake things may rapidly change for her.

General Hospital Spoilers – Things Have Become Too Much For Jordan Ashford

For a while now, things have seemed too much for Jordan. She’s been fighting non-stop with Curtis, disagreeing on everything from how she does her job to what resources she allows herself to use in the fight against Port Charles’s newest bad guy. All these disagreements have worn on the police commissioner as bodies of former teammates have piled up.

In fact, the murders of these individuals have included Jordan’s former boss, Bob Massicotte (Randy J. Goodwin) and close friends like Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews). As bad as these are, for Jordan they must pale in comparison to the potential loss of TJ. At this point, one can only imagine the emotional burden Jordan must be carrying!

There has been a lot of criticism of Jordan in recent days. Some viewers feel that it’s possible she may, in fact, be the worst police commissioner to work for the PCPD! After all, her actions have been hypocritical and erratic. Worse, she’s refused to do whatever it truly takes to not only keep Port Charles safe, but more importantly she’s refused to take the kind of actions necessary to keep her family safe.

Some GH fans just feel that’s inexcusable behavior.

Now, however, it may just be possible that Jordan will come to her senses and take Laura Spencer’s (Genie Francis) advice. Maybe now she will stop having qualms about using the same kind of tactics that her arch nemesis, Cyrus Renault seems to employ. Indeed, it may be that she decides now is a good time to stop her moral grandstanding and take Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) outstretched hand!

Many feel it would be wise if she did.

While she has refused Sonny’s overtures in the past and has spurned her own husband’s advice on the matter, she and Sonny have resources that the other does not. At this stage of the game, many GH viewers feel that Jordan absolutely must ally herself with Port Charles’s preeminent Mafioso. If she does so, the overwhelming feeling is that the defeat of Cyrus Renault will be all but complete.
