General Hospital (GH) spoilers note some major news came crashing down the pipe. Off the cusp of Executive Producer Frank Valentini’s tease at the Daytime Emmys of a male character return, Deadline is reporting that Jonathan Jackson is set to reprise his role as Lucky Spencer. Jackson uploaded a video on social media after the announcement hit, confirming his GH return this summer.
He added he was, “Excited to see Genie Francis [Laura], obviously, and so many others. I just wanted to say thank you to all of the fans over the years.
Your persistence and love has, you know, certainly played a part in all of this. So, I just wanted to say thank you and also to [Executive Producer] Frank Valentini and everybody at ABC for welcoming back. Super-excited. So, just sending much love and I guess I’ll be seeing you all fairly soon.”
General Hospital Spoilers – What Brings Lucky Spencer Back To Town?
GH spoilers imply it’s been a hot minute since Jonathan and Lucky have been in the land of Port Charles. Both were last seen on the show in 2015 for a short stint, nearly a decade ago. Before that, Jonathan had reprised Lucky from 2009 to 2011.
If his father’s passing and sister’s coma didn’t bring him back to town, what will? While it’s exciting that Lucky will re-enter storylines this summer, the angle around his return will be that much more interesting (if written correctly).
GH Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber Will Have Her Two Greatest Loves Back
GH spoilers note that all eyes are on Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) right now. While Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returned earlier this year, he still hasn’t exactly jumped into a romance as he’s so focused on bringing Pikeman down.
Still, when Jake Webber (Hudson West) reached out to his dad when he sensed his mom may face trouble with Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), Jason came to Liz’s “rescue”, which had many Liason fans buzzing about a reunion.
They’ve shared some scenes since, which have been sweet; however, neither character has indicated that there is anything more between them than co-parenting and friendship.
This doesn’t mean “nothing” will happen between Jason and the nurse. After all, Liz is single. But as Lucky is re-entering the picture in some weeks, could writers decide to ax the Liason reunion, and have the mom of three boys reunite with her other “great love”?

Never could handle Jason and Elizabeth. Actually have inly like Elizabeth with Lucky. She is too judgemental with everyone else.
Lucky and Elizabeth were great together as teens, but did not work as an adult couple. Lucky was possessive and petty, and Elizabeth seemed like she was always trying to please him. They grew apart as a couple and should just st be friends. Liz and Jason never really got a solid chance to be together, so maybe this time around it could be different! Besides it would annoy the hell out of Sam, Lucky, and Carly to see them together!

I’ve always liked Jason and Liz as a couple, but what I hate is some peoples lazy infantile habit of combining two peoples names. Of all the stupid combos, “Liason” is probably the most stupid of all time, so I’d rather they not hook Jason and Liz back together if it means having to hear or read that insufferable name ever again.
