General Hospital spoilers reminds that years ago before Steven Lars Webber (Scott Reeves) was hauled off to prison for killing a comatose patient to use his organs for a teen transplant patient, he was readying to marry Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).
Olivia has long since moved on and is happily married to Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), but will Steven be respectful of that, or has time quite literally stood still for him over the last nearly-twelve years he’s been in lock-up?
As usual, when a veteran returns to town, not everyone will be happy about it. Could we see Olivia and Ned actually differ on their feelings on this front? Look out for Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) opinion; it’s highly unlikely she’ll keep it to herself.
General Hospital Spoilers — Steven Webber Returns
The last time we saw Steven was the last time Olivia saw him, too. He was being carted off to prison for killing one of his patients just as he was about to be declared Olivia’s husband.
She was dying to marry him, but he took the high road and insisted their marriage shouldn’t start on such bad terms as he wasn’t planning to fight the charges.
Now, more than a decade later, the man she was forced to move on from despite not wanting to and knowing what he had done is coming back to town. How will this make Olivia feel? Did she ever really stop loving him?
GH Spoilers – Suggest Olivia Quartermaine Doesn’t Sweat It
Olivia is going to put on a brave face, despite being very unsettled by both Steven’s return and Heather’s release from prison. Recall that Heather wasn’t keen on Steven and Olivia being together. She poisoned Olivia with LSD which nearly led to the hotelier taking her own life.
Steven managed to spare her of those consequences and in spite of many ups and downs in their relationship, Olivia still wanted to stand by her man.
She didn’t care that he couldn’t be convinced his mother was unwell until she harmed someone, nor that he killed a patient to get their organs for someone else.
There has never been much focus on whether Olivia holds Steven accountable for his behavior at this point, but when he comes home and she acts as though she’s unbothered by it, something is going to nag at Ned that tells him that’s not the case.
General Hospital Spoilers — Ned Quartermaine Confides In Lois
Is Olivia’s cool, calm, and collected demeanor just a front she’s putting up? If so, is it to protect herself, or is it because she wants to conceal the reality that she never really got over how things ended with Steven? Had he not been sent to prison, she may still be with him right now.
If that thought is crossing Ned’s mind, why wouldn’t he assume it has crossed his wife’s? Unable to get her to really open up about how she feels, he may look to Lois for answers. As Olivia’s best friend, Lois may know more about how Olivia felt at that time than she ever shared with Ned.
But will she breach Olivia’s confidence and tell Ned how much Olivia loved Steven and wanted their marriage even if he was locked up? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
I’m sad that Sam is being killed off GH. They have a replacement for her. Why don’t they just recast her with the replacement they’ve used in the past. I g it was Lulu and Dante will probably get back together when Lulu wakes up. I’m certain she’ll need extensive physical therapy! Looking forward to the next chapter.
I wouldn’t accept that substitute Sam. I just don’t like her

[…] Of course, it was Joss who put him on the spot by asking him such. Why would a young woman who took so much issue with Dex potentially killing Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) on Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) orders pose that kind of question, and why didn’t she react in an equally as appalled manner when he admitted to feeling that way?
