General Hospital Spoilers: Will Nina Be Able To Outsmart Nelle Or Will Villain Get The Upper Hand?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is feeling a lot more empathy for Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) these days. Viewers may recall that it wasn’t all that long ago that the two of them couldn’t be in the same room as another without dirty looks and snarky barbs between them.

General Hospital Spoilers – But something changed…

When the truth came out about the baby swap, and it was revealed that Willow’s child had actually died and Wiley Corinthos (Erik and Theo) Olsen wasn’t actually hers, Nina began to feel for Willow. And when Willow came to Nina to ask for her to run an expose on Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), the two of them even seemed to bond. While not being anywhere near friends, it seems that the ice between is certainly beginning to thaw.

GH Spoilers – So why hire Nelle Benson?

So why did Nina decide to hire Nelle? At first, when Nelle offered her services, Nina’s immediate reaction was to say no. But then she remembered her conversation with Willow, and it seems Nina may take full advantage of Nelle’s presence. Not to help Nelle, but to take her down. Nina is well aware that Nelle should be nowhere near Wiley. If she can find something that will help keep Nelle from getting custody of Wiley, she’s going to. But Nelle is fairly clever, so the two may be playing a game of cat and mouse for a while.

General Hospital Spoilers – A close eye

With Nelle working right outside Nina’s office, Nina will have the perfect opportunity to find out exactly what Nelle is up to. She can tip off Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) or Willow if Nelle does anything that can be used against her. Perhaps she will even be able to write that expose that Willow asked for! If the rumors are true, and Willow and Nina are daughter and mother, this could be the beginning of a relationship between them.

GH Spoilers – A secret plan

But Nina may invoke anger in Willow for hiring Nelle. It’s probably better if Willow doesn’t know what Nina is up to. This would keep Nelle from getting suspicious, and threatened Nina’s entire plan. So Willow and Nina may go on hating each other for a while, at least in public. Perhaps Nina will clue Willow in but swear her to secrecy.
