General Hospital Spoilers: Will There Be A Nurses Ball This Year? What You Need To Know!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that May is almost upon us, and usually, that means Port Charles residents suddenly all sound like professional singers and dance like no one is watching, although everyone is! It’s usually a time when anything can happen, from surprise proposals to teenagers bonging with livestock! Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) usually changes wardrobe in every scene, but still finds herself on stage in her underwear each year! But both real life and Port Charles happenings could mean that we won’t get to see the event this year.

A real-life pandemic

As everyone knows by now, with the COVID-19 pandemic going on right now, the production of new episodes of General Hospital is currently suspended until it’s safe everyone to return to their lives. It’s unknown when production will resume, but it seems likely that the Nurses Ball episodes haven’t been filmed yet. Once production resumes, those episodes should be coming up. But with everything that’s happened, will they still be able to pull off such a spectacle?

GH Spoilers – Meanwhile, in Port Charles…

Meanwhile, Lucy’s time recently has been taken with the relaunch of her company, Deception. Does Lucy have time to organize the even while she’s working to get her company back off the ground? Organizing the Nurses Ball is almost a full-time job in and of itself and Lucy just may not have the time!

And with the mob war currently raging through Port Charles, if maybe a bad time to put all of Port Charles prominent citizens in one room. That is unless Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) finds himself wanting to express his sensitive side in song. Perhaps a love song of sorts dedicated to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) or Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) before he has them killed?

The Show must go on!

But as they say, the show must go on. It would be a shame to miss the spectacle of the Nurses’ Ball this year. We all want to see what song Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will sing. Even people like Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) put away their barbs and martinis and entertain us! And this year, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is sure to dazzle us with a spectacular song. It’s exactly what we all need right now!

General Hospital Spoilers – What will happen?

Will the Nurses’ Ball still take place this year? Let’s hope so! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. And don’t forget to check back right here for all your General Hospital news, information, and spoilers!

Instead of adding in all this filler, I’d rather they show old episodes of the nurses ball, going right back to the beginning, when it was about the performances and not a venue for character drama.

I hope that there will be a Nurse’s Ball this year. I think that it would be alright if they had to have it later in the year like in November if it would be safer for that to happen. I just hope that they will get to get back to filming sooner rather than later but it is unclear what will happen because of the crisis in the world.

I wish they’d get rid of ALL the nelle crap!!!! Get rid of her Completely, stop this ridiculous partners swap and start writing some GOOD STORIES!!!

I hope that I am wrong that the show will air the Nurses Ball episode from the past.

I love the nurses ball, and look forward to it every year. Maybe what they could do is have it become a Winter Ball this year. That way we still get those wonderful actors perform for us, just later in the year.
