General Hospital Spoilers: Will Valentin Turn Out To Be A Quartermaine – Is That Why He Wants ELQ?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers that what started out as revenge plot for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) might very well turn up some previously unknows Quartermaine family secrets. Is it possible that Valentin could end up being a Quartermaine by blood? Recent revelations leave that as a distinct possibility.

General Hospital Spoilers – The codicil

Valentin and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) spent months searching for the codicil to Mikkos Cassadine’s will. Nikolas finally found the document, but one of the revelations inside the document was a shock to everyone involved. The document claimed that Valentin wasn’t actually Mikkos’ son.

It further stated that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) and an unnamed man were Valentin’s true parents. A DNA test later confirmed that Valentin was not related to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) at all. Since Alexis is Mikkos’ daughter than meant that Valentin isn’t a Cassadine at all!

GH Spoilers – Could Valentin Be A Quartermaine?

But if Mikkos isn’t Valentin’s father then who is? One strong possibility is Edward Quartermaine (the late John Ingle). It was well documented that Edward cheated on his wife more than once. It seems quite likely that perhaps Edward and Helena conceived a child together and that child is Valentin. Helena would have kept this from Edward for fear of the repercussions. Or perhaps she did tell Edward and he refused to acknowledge another illegitimate child.

General Hospital Spoilers – Or Maybe Alan And Helena Had An Affair

If not Edward, perhaps his son Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) was the one to have an affair with Helena. That would certainly rile Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) up to find out about yet another affair her late husband had, especially it was with Helena! That would surely cause fireworks inside the Quartermaine mansion. But it would give Valentin something that he lost, a family.

GH Spoilers – ELQ Takeover

Recently, Valentin has been making several moves to take over ELQ, the Quartermaine family business. He originally started the takeover attempt to get revenge on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for interfering in his plot to have Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) pretend to be the long-lost daughter of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). It would be quite ironic if he ended up taking over his own family’s company!
