GH fans may not have noticed but Cameron Weber (Will Lipton) has not been on contract on the ABC soap for quite some time. It was first reported in March and fans were concerned that Cam might be on his way out. When Lipton and his teen co-stars announced they were going to college viewers braced for the worse and expected that Cameron, Joslyn Jax (Eden McCoy), and Trina (Sydney Makayla) would all leave Port Charles but the trio are all attending a local college and sticking close to home.

GH Spoilers – Sydney Mikayla Desires To Concentrate On Her Studies

In real time Lipton and McCoy are attending the University of Southern California (UNC) and Mikaya is at the University of California, Los Angeles. It was recently announced that Sydney has decided to go off-contract so she can give more time to her studies. Her character is involved in what might become a front-burner storyline where it may be revealed that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is her biological father.

All three of the teens recently worked together to expose Esme Prince (Kristen Avery Pohl) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chaves) as Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) stalkers. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) put Ava in charge of his son’s trust fund but Spencer refuses to appologize for his crimes. He is now working at Kelly’s diner and Cameron who has been working there for a while is his supervisor. At one point it looked as if Lipton and Mikayla’s characters would be linked romantically but Cam and Joss are now dating.

GH Spoilers – Fans Hope Sydney Mikayla And William Lipton Stick Around

General Hospital fans have been discussing the teens on various social media platforms and are hoping they will remain on the daytime drama. Some viewers want to see the romance between Cam and Joss go to the next level and others desire Esme to be exposed and Trina end up with Spencer. Best of luck to Sydney and Will and perhaps at some point they will be back on contract status. Fans prefer the popular young actors are on screen part-time rather than leaving the soap. At this time there has been no notice of a status change with Eden McCoy.
