General Hospital spoilers reveals Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) hasn’t much free time these days. Anyone who looks at her would think she’s under the weather, but her family seems to be trucking along assuming she’s just working like a dog while being a pregnant mother to a rambunctious young boy.
So when Willow collapses during an argument with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), everyone may jump to the conclusion that something is wrong with the baby. Little do they know, Willow is battling Stage IV leukemia. Keeping it a secret was going fine until the side effects of treatment started becoming hard to hide. Is this the turning point in which Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will have to break the news that Willow is gravely ill?
General Hospital Spoilers — Willow Tait And Michael Corinthos Reassess Their Plan
Michael was immediately insistent that he and Willow open up about the truth to their families after learning about her collapse. However, Willow is absolutely against it, and while Michael wants to be supportive of her wishes, he knows it’s only going to be a harder road they must travel ahead — not easier. He wants the support of their family during this time, and he isn’t sure they can keep hiding the side effects of chemotherapy from everyone. Is Willow’s hesitancy to let everyone else in on the secret some form of denial, and how will she handle it if he goes against her wishes?
GH Spoilers – Tease Carly Spencer’s Questions Are Exhaustive
Michael is already itching to have someone to talk to about how he is feeling about Willow being diagnosed with cancer. It was bad enough that she didn’t tell him for so long, but now that she has, he could use reinforcement from his loved ones to carry him through it as he tries to be strong for Willow. Michael came close to spilling the beans to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but he quickly covered for himself by painting it as though he was alluding to his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), when he spoke of never knowing how much time you have left with someone.
When Drew mentions this exchange to Carly, she just may decide to approach Michael out of concern and under the assumption he’s actually upset about the distance he’s helped create between himself and Sonny. Will Michael have any choice but to tell her the truth when she gets the wrong idea? Will he really even care to hide it anymore? Rumor has it he’s going to be relieved to tell his mom the truth, but Willow may not take so kindly to it.
General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Reeves Grows Suspicious, And Nosey
Although Carly has been looped in, she may not let anyone else know that Willow is sick. Michael could swear her to secrecy, and they may even decide they won’t tell Willow that Carly knows. For Carly, this will mean pretending — when she’s with Willow, Drew, or anyone else who shares concern for Willow. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) won’t be exempt from that list. She’s going to be worried about Willow’s wellbeing since her collapse, but she won’t pester Willow about it in fear of a repeat. Instead, she may seek information from Carly, and she just might notice that Carly is holding back. Will Carly’s anxiety about the secrets she is juggling lead Nina to start nosing around?
