General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Is About to Learn The Truth About Her Mother — And She Won’t Forgive Her

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina Reeves Corinthos’ (Cynthia Watros) worst nightmare would be her daughter, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), finding out the truth about what she has done. Nina is hoping to keep the secret that she turned Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in to the SEC under wraps — forever. But the more people that find out about her dirty little secret, the more she risks being exposed.

The rumor mill suggests the whole scheme is about to come undone when she is exposed as a fraud and saboteur of their family. Nina might be sick with worry that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would never forgive her, but that will quickly become the least of her worries when she realizes it is Willow who will never speak to her again.

The whole time that Nina has been keeping this secret, the focus has been on keeping it from Sonny. Even when Michael found out and ushered in his blackmail agenda, Nina breathed an ironic sigh of relief.

She may not like the stress of being forced to stay away from the people she loves and bend to Michael’s will, but it’s better than losing all of them and knowing they hate her.

So when Willow and Carly learn that Nina was the bad guy all along, it’s certain to ignite fury in Sonny’s ex-wife while breaking Willow’s heart.

We can expect that Carly could take the high road here. Finally, Nina has been shown up once again as the vindictive liar that she is. She has been keeping harmful secrets from the family the whole time all over again — including Sonny, all over again.

Carly may recognize that the best way to inflict the most pain upon Nina is to let her be pushed out of the family unit. That means refraining from reacting and striking back will have to be more important to Carly than getting revenge.

Willow, on the other hand, will be devastated. She got her hopes up the very way she promised herself she wouldn’t. She let Nina in and got burned. She won’t make that mistake again.

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos Gets His Way

It looks like Michael is going to get his way this time around, and Willow may or may not be none the wiser.

It’s possible that Nina could take the high road, too, and stop short of telling anyone about Michael’s blackmail plan just to spare her daughter that pain.

Of course, she too will have to prioritize Willow’s feelings over her own desire to see Michael pay. That wouldn’t be like Nina, but we’ll see.
