General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Throws Drew Shooter Suspicion On Kai & Trina, New Setup Brewing?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) may make some bold moves against Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

Since Willow overheard Trina and Kai talking about her shooter guilt, she knows there’s a lot at stake.

Willow’s trial brought her acquittal, but that doesn’t mean she’s totally in the clear. Although Willow can’t be prosecuted for Drew’s shooting a second time, her reputation could still be affected if the truth’s exposed.

Willow doesn’t want to lose her new Congress seat and face Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) wrath. Plus, Willow finally has shared custody of her children and certainly doesn’t want to lose them again.

That’s why Trina and Kai’s knowledge of Willow’s responsibility in Drew’s shooting is an issue. Willow is clearly feeling uneasy about the situation, but she may manipulate Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) into helping her again.

In the April 6 episode, Willow told Chase that her chief of staff was pushing for new background checks for everybody at the office. That included Kai according to Willow, so she wondered if Kai came up during the investigation into Drew’s shooting.

Chase seemed perplexed by Willow’s question, so his curiosity has been raised. Thanks to Willow, Chase may go digging and start to believe Kai might be to blame for firing at Drew that night.

GH fans know Kai had a key to get inside Drew’s house and his fingerprints are on the bat that was taken into evidence. If Willow plays this just right, she could make it seem like Kai’s the guilty party and that he was helping Trina get her parents’ problem out of the way.

Trina was indeed furious with Drew over all the blackmail drama involving Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), so Willow might hope that’ll work to her advantage.

Although Willow was probably lying about the background checks, there’s a chance she was telling the truth instead.

What if some incident pops up in Kai’s background check and adds to the suspicion that’s presumably soon to be surrounding him? Willow might even make sure something bogus comes up with Sidwell’s assistance.

If Willow can put suspicion on Kai and Trina, she’ll make it tough for them to sell the idea that she’s guilty. Trina and Kai could end up looking like they’re just trying to accuse Willow to save themselves.

At the very least, Willow might corner the pair alone and threaten to make sure they take the fall for Drew’s shooting if they try to come forward against her.
