General Hospital spoilers tease Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is about to find out the lengths his mom will go to in order to get her way. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) might try to convince everyone she was only keeping Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) secret because she made her a promise on her deathbed and she thought Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) genuinely wouldn’t want to know her birth mother is Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but few are going to buy that story, if any.
Carly is known for putting her own feelings first, and this is going to wreak of Carly’s typical selfish behavior. When Carly divulges the truth to Michael, though, he is going to weigh the same risks and benefits and make the dangerous assumption that he knows what Willow would want. When Michael also keeps Willow in the dark, it cannot end well.
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Spencer Tells Michael Corinthos the Truth
As Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) gets closer to figuring out the truth about Carly’s deception, she will probably choose to come clean to him before she tells Michael the truth. She knows Michael will understand the best way to relay the information to Willow — better than Carly would herself anyway. Plus, she wants Michael to hear it from her first, before Willow reacts to the news and possibly upsets Michael even more. What Carly won’t expect is Michael’s response.
GH Spoilers – Hint Michael Corinthos Won’t Want To Upset Willow Tait
Although Michael is going to be stunned and furious with his mother for keeping this secret to herself all of this time, he just might accept her explanation. Willow was grieving the loss of the only mother she ever knew.
She even told Carly she didn’t want to know who her birth mother was, because it would probably end up being someone terribile like Nina. Carly didn’t need much more ammunition to keep the truth to herself, but she may be guilty of liking Willow’s response.
Nonetheless, Michael is worried about Willow’s health and survival right now, and he won’t want to upset her any more than is necessary. So, from his perspective, he may think he can pull off getting Nina tested and convincing her to do the bone marrow donation — if she’s a match — without telling her and Willow that they are mother and daughter.
Alas, they’re going to find out the truth anyway — either by way of the screening test for the transplant, or because Drew is going to discover the truth after all and blow the lid off of it.
General Hospital Spoilers — Nina’ Reees’s Arms Are Open
When Willow finds out Nina is her mom, and that Carly and Michael knew and kept it a secret, she won’t be able to face the betrayal he has placed on her shoulders — all while she is carrying their child and battling cancer.
The family she thought she was going to have will suddenly be slipping away from her, and the only real family that seems to be in her corner will be the birth mother she never wanted to know. Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers to find out how this pans out!
