General Hospital spoilers and updates tease major drama is coming in the aftermath of Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) explosive accident. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) acted quickly-they decided to file for temporary custody of Wiley Corinthos and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serentiy and Sequoia Mork Macko).
General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Tait Didn’t Like The Idea At First
As Martin broached the subject with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), she immediately felt the weight of the moment. The timing seemed utterly inappropriate; how could she even consider such a move while Michael was battling for his life?
Her heart was firmly set on prioritizing the well-being of her children’s father before entertaining any thoughts of custody arrangements.
Yet, with Michael lying unconscious and in dire straits, Diane approached Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and received the green light for the plan.
This decision left Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) reeling when Diane showed up at her penthouse, armed with the judge’s orders to take the children.
GH Spoilers – Diane Miller And Harrison Chase Arrived To Take The Kids
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was the police representative, and the Quartermaine nanny was there too.
With that said, an interesting fact popped up earlier during the January 9th show about who holds the rights to Michael’s medical proxy. Martin and Nina were both a little upset that Willow denied the temporary custody filing;
However, the lawyer did say he had a plan B. Martin noted that Willow still holds the medical proxy for Michael, and this could definitely be used as a negotiation chip if things got messy in the custody battle for Wiley and Amelia. Willow had a big decision to make and desperation was building up minute by minute.
General Hospital Spoilers – Mini-Carly Spencer Josslyn Jacks Tore Willow Tait To Shreds!
Upon her arrival at the hospital to check on Michael during Thursday’s episode, she faced a fierce verbal onslaught from Michael’s sister, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
The tension escalated when Josslyn discovered that Carly had taken the kids, signaling her readiness to engage in a serious confrontation. Meanwhile, Willow learned from Martin and Nina that she would be serving as Michael’s medical proxy.
As fans are aware, Michael’s character is nearing his exit, and it seems likely that he will require admission to a treatment facility for a complete recovery.
However, this will necessitate his medical proxy’s approval for such treatment, and given his current state, he may not be able to make those crucial medical decisions himself.
GH Spoilers – Willow Tait Took Charge!
Could Willow leverage this situation to negotiate with Carly; might she consider threatening to deny life-saving treatment for Michael as a means to regain custody of her children?
Willow could assert that she won’t agree to any arrangements until Wiley and Amelia are returned to her care, at least until Michael is fully recovered.
Upcoming spoilers suggest that Carly will face a tough choice, fully aware once she relinquishes Wiley and Amelia, she might not see them for a significant time. Yet, how can she allow her son to endure suffering without ensuring he receives the best possible care immediately?
And by the end of Friday, January 10’s episode, viewers knew it would take a miracle for Michael to survive!

So sad Willow is turning into a mini just because of her attraction to Drew. There is no way she should use the children as a bargaining situation over having the rights to determine Michael’s care. Writers are really destroying the Willow character, and Drew is not helping in any way. Both have lost their minds – Willow due to hero worship and Drew to being worshiped. Guess none of the women he has been involved with up until Willow thought that much of him and he is basking in the sun of being worshiped.
