General Hospital spoilers reveal quite a week for Willow as she finally marries Michael in a wedding that doesn’t turn out quite as planned.
General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Tait Gets Her Wish
Ok, so in February, General Hospital spoilers reveal Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was given two weeks to live and planned a wedding for two weeks away that was supposed to coincide with the Pikeman gun shipment. Then, Willow canceled that wedding when she learned Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) could be her bone marrow donor so she could marry when healthy and dance at her wedding.
Too bad Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) kidnapped Liesl right from the Nurses Ball so she could concoct a vaccine against the mystery pathogen he planned to unleash on the world to save the world. Now, Willow’s death is once again imminent, so Willow planned another quickie wedding. It also turns out this wedding will also coincide with the first Pikeman gun shipment because time means nothing in Port Charles, apparently, as February sweeps turn into May sweeps.
GH Spoilers – It’s Not All Hearts And Romance
Willow happily has a very tender little ceremony in the Q living room and Katelyn MacMullen is happy her character is getting what she wants — for now.
“There’s definitely an element of it being bittersweet,” Katelyn MacMullen said in the May 1, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “As the events unfold, there are certainly moments where Willow is like, ‘I really want this to be the beginning of something and not the end of something,’ so it’s bittersweet in that way.”
The ceremony looks as if it goes off without a hitch, but after the couple says ‘I Do’ is when the real drama begins. “Something dramatic and unexpected takes place,” MacMullen said. “There’s a knock at the door. Who is it?”
Well, it could be Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) who is back in town for an extended stay, but would she knock on the door of her family home even if Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) owns it? Perhaps it is the SEC coming to see what Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) have been up to with Aurora and ELQ. Wasn’t the groom involved with that illegal mess too? Hmmm… Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how these stories play out.
